It is difficult for me to understand the story of E,T!!

Hi!! good evening!! friends!!
Did u enjoy E,T? me? I enjoyed it a little....... I could not catch any words in this movie.
I thouhgt English of this movie was somewhat easy, because there are many chirdren in this movie. My thought was foolish,,,,,,,
