This is a blog for my English IIIB students at Hirosaki University in the Fall of 2005. I started it in the Spring of 2005 for another class, and now I use it for whichever class I have. Right now it's English IIIB again. I hope you enjoy it.

Equality?
I heard that in Japan's Self-Defence Forces women are treated equally. That is , there is no prejudice and discrimination against women. For example,Yumi Fujita, who is Airman First Class, is judged by performance, not gender. I think that in Japan there is still prejudice and discrimination in many working places. But the number of prejudice and discrimination are decreasing. This is a good thing. After I graduate Hirosaki University, I will work in the hospital in Japan. Then, I want to work in the workplace where there is no prejudice and discrimination.Well, is there still prejudice and discrimination in working place in America?
