What characters do you like the most?
I like Joliet Jake, one of the blues brothers. His silly and funny acts attract me. He plays a frivolous man in earnest.
Anyway, this movie must have cost a lot of money foolishly: so many cars are wrecked and the cast are pretty gorgeoous...

Usually when they wreck cars in movies they don't use new cars. They use cars that were scheduled to be destroyed anyway. But this was the first movie made in Chicago for many years. Mayor Daley didn't like movies and he didn't allow movies to be made in Chicago. That's why the Maitre d' at the Chez Paul (a very famous Chicago restaurant) said "Mayor Daley no longer dines here. He's dead." in one scene.
