My Hometown

My hometown is Dalian ，China . It is a young city with only 100-year history. Situated at the tip of china's Liaodong peninsular , it is a trading and financial center in northeastern Asia and has gained the name of ' Hongkong of northern China'.

The impression of my hpmetown gives to the world is lawns , squares , fountains and gardens .

There are two tiongs that earned the city a great reputation .One is Football and the other is Fashion . Given the name of 'oriental Brizal' ,it hosts many football matches in China .

Another carnival event in my hometown is International Fashion Festival . During which is thousand of dazzling celebrities , designers , pop stars , and clothing machants from home and abroad get togetner to present a In-Fashion feast to the world .

My hometown's seafood is very good .

About my home town

This time, I want to talk about my home town, Miyako. Miyako is in the east side of Iwate and placed the most east city in Honshu. As you can guess, we can enjoy some marine activities such as crusing, swimming, fishing and so on. Especially,"Jodogahama" is the most famous sightseeing spot in Miyako. The origin of Jodogahama is said to be very beautiful like "Gokurakujodo"(Gokurakujodo means the place like heaven) In addition, Miyako has majestic nature not only sea but also mountains. So we can enjoy nature activities.

And the food is also very nice. For example, we can get many kinds of fish and shellfish like urchin, salmon, pacific saury, abalone and so on. Besides, they are cheaper than to eat in urban areas because of near the ocean.

Although the access is bad(From Tokyo, it takes about 5 hours)If you want to enjoy nature and reflesh, Miyako is the recommendation city!!

My Hometown＼(^ロ^＼)

　I live in Hirakawa city.Hirakawa city is very close to Hirosaki city.But many people may not know that my hometown has various famous places.I will introduce two main tourist spots.


First,we have the biggest Neputa all over the world.In augusts,the Neputa festival takes place every year.A lot of people come to city in order to see the Neputa festival.This year,the festival will be holded in December too,because the Tohoku Shinkansen is going to start this winter!I want to see the festival.　

　Second,the Seibi-en is very famous.Do you know Arrietty?The Seibi-en is a traditonal garden and arrietty’s stage refers to this garden.So if you like the movie of arrietty,the Seibi-en will be your comfortable place!!

　Any sightseeing places are in Hirakawa city.Please drop in my hometown by all means.

About My family

This time I talk about my family.

I have father,mother,younger brother,and one cat.

My father works at flower shop.He loves flowers very much.

He is usually very quiet.But when he gets angry,he is very scary.

His hobby is gardening,cooking,and playing TV games.

My mother works at elementary school.She loves children.

She is very active. She likes chocolates very much!

Her hobby is watching TVs,and taking a nap.

My little brother is junior high school students.He is 14.

He belongs to tennis club.He practices tennis every day.

His hobby is plaing TV games,and internet.

We have one cat.His name is Michael(from japanese comic titled What's Michael).

He is very cute.I play with him every day.

He is about 8 years old. We love him very much.

I belong to the school of science and engineer. My favorite subject is physics.

my family

hello it's me again,

Now I would like to introduce my family.

First of all, my father : his name is Jean-Marie, he's 56 and owns a restaurant near some lake, in a town called Léon . He's a very good businessman since he managed his first business affair when he was 21 (he sold camping-cars). I love that everyone respects him while talking to him, even the bank manager do as well. He is very kind with me, as I'm his daughter, and spoils me like every father probably do with their children. I love him and am very proud of him.


My mother's name is Marie-Line, she's 50, but she's so beautiful that she doesn't look over 40. She's very slim and tall, loves trendy new clothes and gadgets and make-up too !! Sometimes, she makes me think she's a teenager, and me an old person ;) !!
but she's a very hard-worker too ! She helps my father in the restaurant as a waitress and barmaid (she did this job since she has been 17, so she does quite a good work) during long hours.
Then she also has to take care of her huge garden and her ploutry-yard.


My little brother, now 18, is called Léo and is still going to high school. He can't wait to go studying in bordeaux university next year, and have his own appartment !! And he's gonna study japanese too .
He can play the piano, the drums and the bass (and the guitar). He's very talented in practising instruments, and very clever with the informatic stuff (I regret I'm not too). He's also good in learning foreign languages like English, Spanish and soon Japanese and, anyway, he's very brillant in general. Oh, he can draw pictures quite well too !
When we where young, we often fought each other, but now we are very close, and I like it this way.

my hometown

Hello, I would like to tell you about my hometown .
Well, I'm french and I come from a small town called Dax, in the Landes Departement, about one hour and a half from Bordeaux.

In my town, we love to eat good, natural food we produce ourselves, like for example, poultry and vegetables which with we can cook a delicious soup we call "garbure" (take a look at the photo I sent, please). We especially love eating ducks, and make some duck breast or some "confit of duck" (I hope you are not hungry ;) ) !! And, despite this long-standing rumour, I can tell you that NOT EVERYONE in France loves eating frogs' legs, that's not true (for my part, I hate it, so...). But in my region, it's true that snails are mouth-watering, and personally I love mushrooms that sprout in this area !!!


Every year, the inhabitants of my city organize some festivities called "féria de Dax" (photo again), during a week in mid-August, where everyone must be dressed in white and red (traditional colours of the town), where every young (and less) people can get drunk, and have a good time together. Last years, this festivities attracted so much people, and many foreigners came too (from England, Spain, Deutch, even America !), that made my town quite famous, so I'm very proud!!


In my town, we also love the bullfights, it's a tradition in the South West of France to go seeing it. I rather not to talk about this because I don't want to heart anyone's feelings, and I don't appreciate it neither so I would conclude here.

I'm from Akita!

Hello everyone!

By the way, do you know Akita? Now,I would like to introduce my hometown Akita,Ikawa town.

Akita is near to Hirosaki. We can go to Ikawa by train. It takes about 2 hours. And this is a picture of cherry blossom. That's because my town is famous for cherry blossom. There are 200 kinds of cherry blossom's trees at park which is named Nihon kokkaen. Here,Hirosaki has Sakura Festival on spring. And my town also has Sakura Festival on spring! Ikawa town is a small town,but there are a lot of nature and water is clean. People are very kind!
