My Major

My college is engineering, and I want to major in control engineering. Control engineering means to control robots, planes(Auto pilot system) and so on. There are many kinds of products which are controlled. In short, it is necessary to live comfortably now. Especially, I want to study about ATO system. ATO system means Auto Train Operation. This system is used some lines such as Tsukuba Express line. The merit of this system is it can lighten the fatigue of the conductor and it is comfortable for passengers. I think this system will take very important parts in the future. Therefore, I want to major in it.

My hometown

My hometown is Miyoshi in Saitama. Miyoshi is a town of about 38,000 people in the south of Saitama. Though it is near Tokyo, there are a lot of fields there. We use the station in the next town because there is no station there.

The famous place in Miyoshi is "Santomeshinden". However, Maybe, almost everyone doesn't know it. The meaning is a generic term for three the name of a place and a newly developed field. It is a farming area across the Miyoshi and some city or towns. It was made in 1694. The area which is rectangle is equal in each farmer, where there are fields and copses. It seems not to have changed so much at that time. "Santomeshinden" is one of the cultural asset of Saitama.

Another famous place is a lot of zelkova trees standing in a row along the road near the "Santomeshinden". The number of it is about 250!! The road is beautiful and good place to take a walk.

my hometown

Hello.
This time, I talk about my hometown Mitaka , in Tokyo.

If we want some goods, we can go Shinjuku, Shibuya, and many big cities to buy in 20minutes because Mitaka city is next to Tokyo special wards.

Mitaka is close to the big city, but there are a lot of nature especially in Inokashira Park.
And there is Ghibli Museum Mitaka in the west side of Inokashira Park.
Do you like studio Ghibli's animation?
You can see continuity, replicated studio, and simple movie.

Mitaka is convenient and natural. If you work at a company in Tokyo, I recommend your living in Mitaka city.

My hometown

My hometown is Yamagata. Yamagata is far from Aomori, so it takes about half a day to go home by the Tohoku Shinkansen although both of them are in Tohoku.
Yamagata is famous for various foods such as cherries, apples, beef, and so on.
However, the most famous and traditional food is "imoni"! Do you know "imoni"? In autumn, many people hold big events called "imonikai" and eat "imoni" in riverside areas or parks.By the way, the biggest "imonikai" is held in September and people make "imoni" for thirty thousands people, using a large pot that is six meters in diameter!!
If you have time, please come to Yamagata!

I'm from a 'country'

I'm from a 'country' because My home town is '田舎館(Inakadate)' village.
'田舎(inaka)' means a country, and '館(tate or yakata)' means a palace. As this name, the public office is designed like a Japanese castle.
In recent years in my village, about 1,000 people, which is a sixth of the population, gather in front of 'the castle' and plant some kind of rice in the correct position. In the next fall, you can see at the top of 'the castle' with no charge. This picture was on a paper of The New York Times.
In this area, many people grow rice, fruits, and vegetable, Inakadate is close to Hirosaki, so you can come and enjoy our nature with ease.

My Hometown

My hometown is Hirakawa city. It's next to Hirosaki. But many people don't know it. So, I want you to know it.

Agriculture is prosperous in Hirakawa. There is a lot of rice fields or apple fields. In autumn, red apples and yellow-gold rice are very beautiful. Now, farmers are harvesting apples. Rice and apples harvested in Hirakawa are very delicious. I really want you to eat them once.

There are many hot springs in Hirakawa. And, we can take a hot spring bath easily and reasonable. When we soak in hot springs, we can fell very comfortable and forget uncomfortable things. Also, they are good for health. I really want you to take them.

Hirakawa is minor town, but there are very good things in Hirakawa. So, I want you to know and come once.

(The apples in the picture is made by my grandfather and grandmother in Hirakawa.)

My hometown

I come from Fukaura city in Aomori. Fukaura city faces the Japan Sea and my house fronts on the sea. I’m going to introduce something to boast about Fukaura city.

First, Fukaura city is famous for the beautiful setting sun. The view that it is brightening the sky and the sea is too great for words. That is why many people drop in at my town in their tour.

Second, my town is surrounded by not only the sea but also “Green”. It is called “Shirakami Mountains”. The untouched forest of Japanese beeches is spreading there. And there live many kinds of animals and plants. So it registered as “a World Natural Heritage Site” in 1993.

Finally, “Sumo” is very popular in Fukaura. It is one of the traditional Japanese sports. Many sumo wrestlers come from Fukaura are gaining a successful result. Aminishiki, Asohuji, Kaiho, and Masatukasa are examples of it. They are the boast of my town.

My hometown is the “country” unlike Hirosaki. However, we can see the beautiful scenery, feel the fresh air, and eat foods from the land and sea. So please come to my town and actually get experience.

my hometown

I'm from Dalian,China. Most of you guys may never heard it before. It's a beautiful tour city beside the sea.I've been to Beijing and Shanghai, but neither of is a better city than Dalian. It can't denied that both cities are more larger and more developed. But Dalian is more suitable to live, you know. It's neither too cold at winter nor too hot at summer. It's much cleaner than Beijing and Shanghai. You can enjoy the beach and the fresh seafood here. There are also forest zoos, museums, aquariums,a theme park and beautiful parks and countless squares here.
Since Dalian is very closed to Japan, there're many Japanese corporations here. And now many collage students are learning Japanese. So if you go to Dalian, don't be surprised when you find someone who can speak Japanese.

You are welcome to visit my hometown anytime.I'll be your guide.
