This is a blog for my English IIIB students at Hirosaki University in the Fall of 2005. I started it in the Spring of 2005 for another class, and now I use it for whichever class I have. Right now it's English IIIB again. I hope you enjoy it.

There's a saying in English that behind every successful man stands a woman. It's very common around the world. This couple is a very typical Japanese pattern, though, because the man is going out drinking to clubs but his wife is taking care of his money and saving it.
