free topic subject

sorry everyone I'm quite late for the free topic subject from last week !!

well, the subject I choose is what I (dis)like in Hirosaki and which differences there are with my hometown, Dax (France).

First of all, I love going to the onsen with my friends : in France, you can find what they call Spa, where you can relax thanks to hot water and massages (my hometown is, by the way, very famous for having such places that look like hot springs, and having a thermal source (the natural water that comes through the town can reach 75 °C !!) ) but most of the customers to these places are very old people ^^, we can't say teenagers often meet there !

Here in Hirosaki, although I love it, I only went twice to the onsen, the second time I was a little bit ill, because I entered the hot spring just a few minutes after lunch, so my stomach didn't feel like it ^^!

The second thing I like is riding my bike here ! I hope the snow will wait a little longer before coming because I want to use my bike a lot!! It's very useful, because I have the bad habit of being late for first class in the morning, that's why I need my bike to reach the university very quickly!!

In France, I rid bikes when I was young, but when I came to the Bordeaux university, I stopped using it : the fac was 15 m far from my appart, there were tramways and many buses, so no need for a bike !! The landscape were beautiful, and the weather fine (even in winter, because Bordeaux is in the South West of France), and so even walking was very interesting !!

I'm glad I could meet so many friends in Hirosaki, because I'm very shy and I was a little bit afraid not to be able to talk to anyone ^^! I'm happy to have met so many people from so many different countries, it's a very rich experience !!

In Bordeaux, we also have foreign students, but it's a little bit difficult to meet them (especially the Japaneses) because they are quite shy, and we don't do anything special to welcome them (that's a shame), they have to help themselves all alone with administration papers, and I feel sad for them ! whereas here, you are supported by everyone, it's so easy, even if don't speak japanese, like me !

What I dislike in Hirosaki ? The first times I went to my calligraphy club, I couldn't speak with anyone, and I felt so lonely, but now the relationship I have with the other students (all Japaneses) is getting warmer and warmer !! In conclusion, I don't think there is single thing I hate in Hirosaki ^^ !!

I don't want to go back to france !!
