Golden Week assignment

Next week is Golden Week, and we will not have class for Constitution Day. Please tell us about your Golden Week activities. First let us know what you plan to do, even if you only plan to sleep in instead of getting up for classes. Then tell us what you actually did, even if it was just sitting around relaxing. If you have some pictures, please put those on the blog for the rest of us to enjoy.

Golden Week in Hirosaki is especially nice because the cherry blossoms are usually out around that time. Of course I have to go back to see my family in Akita, but I will be here for Tuesday and Wednesday. Maybe I will see you around.

My name is Daisuke Watabe. I major in medicine.I want to become a international doctor, so I want to speak English fluently.By the way,My hobby is watching movies. I like "American Histry X","Elephant". "American Histry X" is about discrimination,"Elephant" is about the incident which happened in Clumbine High school. These movies are sad to watch,but I like movies which make me think about something. If you interested in these movies,go to rental video shops and try to find these movies.

This is Hikalucas.
As I said last week, I’m a quena player and a member of an Andean traditional music band named “LOS CONDOR-LUCAS”. So I love music, and especially, I am interested in Andean traditional music “Folklore” in which quena is usually played.
First, when I was a kid, I usually listened to classical music, but when I was 9 years old I encountered the sounds of quena and got absolutely fascinated with it. After that, I came to want to get and play a quena eagerly, so I began to look for it in almost all the musical instrument shops in my home town. Finally, when I was 10 years old, I got a cheap instrument and started practicing the quena.
I have performed quena in public since I was a junior high school student, and now I am said to be one of the most skilled quena players in Japan by professional musicians who are on friendly terms with me.
