"Majide" is one of the most interesting TV program in the United States(Official title is I Survived a Japanese Game Show). Actually, not only in the United States but also in Japan, this program is popular because the master in this program is Japanese(named Rome Kanda). The details of this program is the comedy. Some Americans go to Japan and live in there in several days. They suffer from the difference of the culture and language and Japanese also are embarraced what to do. These situations are the interesting points. I think it is natural this program became popular. I could really enjoy this program.
If you want to know about it more, please visit this page:

And this is quoted from the page:
The game is a basic crane game. Control the claw and get the prize. The catch? You're the claw! Plus, a surprise guest shows up on the show under certain circumstances!

About my major
I belong to the college of science and engineering and major in chemistry. In this college, 41 male and 9 female students major in chemistry. We study chemistry ; for example, organic chemistry or ironic chemistry, mainly until graduation.
We, majoring in chemistry, learn basic chemistry, like organic chemistry or inorganic chemistry; however, we also learn various kinds of subjects to support wide of view when we are freshman. When we are sophomore, the classes of the chemical experiments start and we learn chemistry more technically. When we are senior, we are assigned to each professor's laboratory and work on the graduation research. We acquire the skills to be scientists because of study classes in this way.
In conclusion, I major in chemistry in this university, I want to be a scientist!
my major
I am an overseas student from China. Out of the ordinary, I have two majors in my university, Material Science and Technology major and also the Japanese major. Thus I have to spend one more year in university , that means five years.
When I was a freshman, it was really hard to study in two majors at the same time. I have to remember the Japanese vocabularies, grammars and also complicated physical equations. Well enough, both the major in the first year were not very difficult. The Japanese classes were almost about grammars, vocabularies and the material science classes were all foundation subjects. Fortunately, I got accommodated after the first half of year.
When I became a sophomore, both the majors went deeper. We began to write compositions and do some listening work in Japanese. Moreover, the specialized courses came up beyond belief. Thus, many students experienced the pain of failing a course and I wasn’t be able to escape too.
Situation didn’t get better when I was a junior or I can say even worse. The classes of material major became more and more specialized. To make it worse, I have to take the Japanese Language Proficiency Test First-level and also CET-6 for English.
You see, the learning challenges forced me come here in the forth year .
My major
I belong to the department of electronics and information technology. I'm majoring in programming and making electronic devices because I like computers and am good at them. Before I entered into this university, I only use computers and softwares which have been already made. But I want to make them myself, so I entered into this department. Now, I studying the basis of programming, mathematics, physics, chemistry, and so. Programming needs mathematics, but I'm not so good at them. So I'm studying them hard. Electronic devices needs physics and chemistry, I'm good at chemistry but not so good at physics. So I'm also studying them. In the first grade, I only study basic subjects and sometimes I'm bored studying them. But they are very important for studying specialized subjects in over the second grade. So, I want to study them not being bored.

About my major
I am in the college of pedagogy and I am majoring in English. I want to be an English teacher in the future, so I am aiming at improving my English skills.
First, I want to acquire clear English pronunciation. For example, it is a bit difficult for me to pronounce l and r correctly. Correct pronunciation is necessary to convey what I am thinking to lisners correctly, so I am going to practice pronunciation very hard in the class of phonetics.
Second, I want to master English grammar. I will not be able to teach English to my students with confidence in the future, without acquiring knowledge of English grammar. So, I want to study it positively.
I am goig to try everything hard to be an English teacher in the future!

My major
My major is Japanese and Mechanism which is the best major in Dalian university of technology.Actually,I don't like my mechanism that much.I chose the major because it's the best major in Dalian university of technology and it'll be easy to get a well-paid job in the future.I do like Japanese though.I like Japanese video games, comics and novels.Because I will get two degrees when I'm graduated,my studying life in university is 1 year longer. It's hilarious that I'm on my 4th grade, but I don't know much about mechanism.I spent the first 2 years learning Japanese and other basic subjects such as maths and physics. On my 3rd grade,I took some courses which are the ground level. When I'm about to learn more,I'm here to study in Japan.I guess I'll be occupied off when I'm back to China to pick al the courses i miss.Anyway,I'm having a good time here.
I chose Japanese language and culture for major
Good evening,
Since I graduated from High school, five years ago now,
I have been studying Japanese language and culture :
that means I've learnt some Japanese literature, history/civilisation,
arts (but no practises). I also had some class during which we read
some japanese philosophers' books, which was very boring for me
as I didn't understand neither Karatani's, nor Maruyama's way of thinking.
I've been, for four years, a student of the Japanese
department in Bordeaux 3 University
(French Literature and Foreign Languages).
As I chose literary disciplines, like English specialty
(add 2h of English, so in total 5h each week),
during my A level, it seemed obvious to me that
I had to carry on learning foreign languages.
And, indeed, English, Spanish and Latin were my
favourite subjects in junior high school and high school.
When I started studying Japanese language in Bordeaux,
I was very happy. The first year, it was easy to understand
at the beginning, so I thought I had good skills and I would be
able to speak fluently Japanese within 3 years.
But, the next year was more difficult and we noticed that some teachers
were cheating on us during the exams : they gave good marks to
their favourite students, and for those they couldn't bear to see,
they ensured that they would have to go to the remedial exams.
Because of that, many students from my promotion just gave up
and that just made me sad. Some teachers were punished for this problem
but nothing has changed until now.
Moreover, during classes, students weren't
used to speak a lot, because of shyness, because of the huge number of students
in each class, because we were afaid of our ba level, etc...
On the third year, there was a huge demonstration against the
Government's plan to reform the Education, which led the students
all over in France, to block every university for 6 monthes.
Hence, we didn't have class during this period, so our level didn't rise.
I really became aware of how low my Japanese level was
during my fourth year : only 20 students remainded, and half of them
had already spend a year or more in Japan as foreign students or workers.
I was so ashamed of my level that I barely spoke in oral class this year.
So, in order to remedy this problem, I decided to come to Hirosaki,
to seek for Japanese friends, to improve my knowledge in Japanese language.
That's all folks, thanks for reading !! ^^

My major
I major in physics. For one thing, I like physics. But I have 3 classes this semester. When going slope up, I've felt like ''ah, mgsinθ prevents me from going up, however, my mgh is growing!!''
The other, that is because there are many things to study.
My collage has many area of studying, that is exciting to me. One is studying with X ray, one is studying about space. Actually, I don't know what professors or others studying very well, however I know a little bit of the utility. One example is GPS. We are owe it to physics that we can know where we are. If you want to know it, you have to make it calculate how some information is affected by gravities and the speed of light.

my home town
Even if I study Japanse at the University of Bordeaux, I live in a town called Nantes> Bordeaux is located in the south west part of France near the Atlantic Ocean, on the Loire river.
Nantes is the 6th largest town in France with a population over 800,000 habitants, including its metropolitan area. Moreover, according to the Time Magazine (2004), Nantes is described as "the most liveable city in Europe".
Nantes is the capital city of the Pays de La Loire region and of the Loire-Atlantique departement. Until 1956, Nantes belonged to Brittany region.
Nantes has been founded around 70 BC by the Gaulish tribe called the Namnetes. During the Roman occupation (around 56BC), the city was called Portus Namnetum then Naoned during its belonging to Brittany region. Nantes is also known as "the Venice of the West" or "the Green Venice" due to its position on the river delta of Loire, the Erdre, the Sevre and the Chezine.
Nantes saw its economy grew up in the 16th and 17th centuries due to the slave trade. In the 19th century, Nantes became an industrial city and the first public transport with its omnibus in 1826 and its railways in1851. Due to its industrial manufactures and its position, Nantes has been occupied by German troops in 1940 until its liberation in 1944 by Americans.
There are lots of old buildings as the Castle of the Dukes of Brittany, the cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, Jules Vernes museum, the Naval museum, or the Fine Arts Museum. There are also many historical places as the Passage Pommeray, Place Royale or Place Graslin. They are many gardens and parks where people can walk, visit or rest as Jardin des Plantes, La Roserais of the Football Club Nantes- La Beaujoire stadium, le parc de la Chezine, l Ile Feydeau where a japanese garden has been created.
Nantes is also famous for its festivals as "Les Rendez-Vous de L Erdre" (a jazz festival), Les Folles Journees ( a classical music festival which also has been exported in Tokyo), The Festival des 3 Continents dedicated to African, Asian and South American cinema, or les Utopiales which is an international science fiction convention...
I am so sorry to have not the possibility to show you some pictures about Nantes. But, if you have time, please go and see in Internet sites.

major
I am a French student from Bordeaux and since 2007, I am a Japanese major. That means I learn the Japanese language: grammar, history, culture...
In France, most of my courses are in Japanese or in French but we don't speak much in Japanese and it is quite difficult to speak in Japanese in the everyday life. We have the same problem writing kanji. If we don't practice everyday, we easily loose how to write using kanji.
So, it is a pleasure for me to be in Japan and improve, or try to improve my ways of speaking and writing.

I belongs to the department of science and engineering. I'm majoring in the global environment study. I majored in it because I was interested about the natural phenomenon and space.
I've been studying the global environment study multipronged since I entered this university. And, I wanted to learn space more. There are a lot of mysterious phenomenon and things that are not illuminated in space. I want to know about these more.

My major
I belong to the faculty of Science and Technology. My major is physics. I have selected this subject as my major because I like and I’m good at it.
The most famous theory about physics is the theory of relativity. This theory constructed by Einstein Albert brought about a revolution in physics. It changed a concept of time and space. I think it so interesting and want to study it thoroughly.
On the other hand, I want to major in cosmophysics(astrophysics) because I have been interested in the universe since I was in an elementary school. However it's course doesn't start until I get to be a third-year student. So I now study mechanics to master the fundamentals of all.

I belong to the faculty of pedagogy. And I'm majoring in Junior High School education. Especially,my specialty is English. Now I'm studying phonetics and communication. I studied communication on the first term too, but this is my first time to study phonetics. So I'm very interested in it. And it is a bit difficult for me to pronounce real English sounds, because there is a difference between Japanese and English. That is the way how to use a tongue. I haven't be able to use my tongue as I wanted yet. So my goal will be using my tongue as I hoped for the time being. Then I want to get a real English pronunciation.

My faculty is engineering, so I major in physics.
I like physics because things not visible can see.For example, power, electlicity, sound wave, and more! It's so interesting for me.
I especially like electlicity and magnetic force. I want to make or repair electrical appliances. But I don't want to get an electric shock......
I recentry try experiments in college.I measured the width of Newton Ring.It succeeded.Experiment is very interesting.Next class, I'll measure an acceleration of free fall!
