I like autumn!

My favorte season is fall! First, there are many autumn leaves around us. These color is beautiful and elegant. In this season, I come to feel cold. However, when I see beautiful color of autumn leaves, I am happy and relaxed. In fact, I like cherry blossoms very much. Second, we can eat delicious grain in fall: sweet potetoes, pumpkins, chestnuts and so on. Do you like autumn food too? Third, there are many elegant clothing in the shops. They are hot and pretty designs. Specially, I like these color!

History of Jazz

Have you ever listened jazz music and what image of jazz do you have ? My image of jazz is cool . Now, I'm showing you about jazz history.

Today, the mention of jazz reminds people of New york city, but the birthplace of jazz is New Orleans. There are two important factors. First, the existence of a black slave. They have their own folk song ;African folk song. The fork song have mixed with church music and Blues was born. Blues developped into jazz , rock , soul , and motown. In parallel with this ,a white developped country music . This music is result of european folk song. The country song developped into bluegrass and honky-tonk.

From them ,a genre called swing jazz was born . It is called big band. In 1940's, a greate musician apperared. The musician's name is Miles Davis. He developed jazz remarkably.By apperarance of Miles Davis, the form of jazz band changed into piano trio, quartet, quintet, and so on. Then , the center of jazz moved from New Orleans to New York . in New York, genres called Bossa Nova and Latin music were born.

The Star's Rendezvous

Though it is sudden, did you see the night sky yesterday?

Of course I did and found something made me happy a little.

That was smiley!That smiled sweetly. But it wasn't ordinary, bloody huge!!!
It was made of heavenly bodies!

I saw that when the 5 classes finished. In the sky in the southwest, you can see Venus, Jupiter and a new moon in the picture.

It looks like the smiley.

Like this, next time is 24 years after(2032), we can see the three heavenly bodies gathering.

We have to waite so long to see it next time.

It was a nice, but a little early Christmas present for everyone.

Persimmon jam

I made a persimmon jam today, because my neighbor gave me a lot of persimmons.

They have already ripen, so it was too sweet to eat.

Therefore, I suggested to my grandmother that we made a jam of them. First, we pare them, but they are so squashy that we can't pare well them.

Next, we put them in the mixer and reduce them to a paste. Then, we put them into a pot and boil them with suger . It is the finish that their color turn into transparent color. Finally, we add the juice of a lemon into a pot.
