Hello,everyone!

My name is Atsushi Obata.
Sorry for the delay.

I'm majoring computer. I like listening to music  
,and especialy like rock music.



I came from Odate in Akita.
Odate is famous for Mage-wappa.
It is a woodcraft and was recognized as one of the traditional japan crafts in 1980.

Look at this picture. That looks delicious.

My hometown

I'm from Hirono town in Iwate prefecture. There is a sea near my hometown. So I often swam in the sea when I was a junior high school student.

A lot of seafood are gotten in the sea.



Especially many sea urchin are gotten. Ichigoni is famous in my hometown. Ichigoni is made of abalone and sea urchin. It's so delicious! Don't you eat Ichigoni?

There is also a mountain as well as the sea in Hirono town. 



Ohno Yume Milk is popular in my hometown. This milk is also the school lunch menu of primary and secondary school in my hometown. It's delicious too.

Hirono town is blessed by nature. Why don't you come to Hirono town?

I'm from Tochigi.
So , let me intoroduce Tochigi to you!

 
 





















Here is Tochigi prefecture.

Tochigi has rich nature and mild climate.

My home town can access to Tokyo less than 1 hour. So, we can enjoy rich nature and city easily.



Well, I'll show you famous things in Tochigi.















This is "Nikkou Tousyouguu".

This shrine is dedicated to "Tokugawa Ieyasu" who established Tokugawa Shogunate.

This shrine was registered on UNESCO's World Heritage List tenth in Japan.
And about 2 millions of people all over the world visit this shrine every year.

This is a strawberry called "Tochiotome"!

Tochigi has the largest strawberry production in the country.














This is "Aiskaga school".

This is known for the most oldest university in Japan.

I learned that more than 3000 of students learn in this school in around 1550.

Xavier introduced this school as the most largest university to Europe.

Finally,  this is "Sanomarukunn".

The other day, "Weak mascot character Grand Prix"are held.

More than 1500 characters entried The Grand Prix.

There, Sanomarukunn won the first prize!!

Incidentally, this character is my hometown's.

My hometown is Kuroishi city.
There is famous for Kokeshi.
Kokeshi is like a doll to play.
I have made Kokeshi only one time. It was difficult to paint.
If you have a opportunity to make Kokeshi, please challenge it.

MY HOMETOWN

  Hi everyone! I think that Mr. bean is so interesting.

  My hometown is Hachinohe city in Aomori prefecture.

 
  This is the market for visitors(local people might not use here?). Hachinohe`s seefood is so good, especially squid.
 
  I like central of Hachinohe. This has declined because of a shopping mall in suburb. some people like this atmosphere.
 Anyhow, I lke this city because I was born and brought up!

I come from Changsha in Hunan province of Chine.My hometown has the population
about 7150 thousand pepole,and the area is about ten thousand square kilometers.It's a very lively town.And my hometown is the capital of Hunan province,it has the history of 3000years since the year 221B.C China was united by the First Emperor.It is also the only one city where the site of an ancient city hasn't been chaged.

The weather here is belonged to the subtropical zone and it has clear four seasons,april  and autumn is short,summer and winter is long ,winter is cold and summer is hot.By the word ,the hot food here is very delicious and famous like "Duo jiao yu tou",snake food like"Chou dou fu" which is famous for its smelliness and taste.

Changsha is also famous for its varity show especially which named''happy Camp and in the "day day up"there are two hosts that one comes from Japan and one comes from Korea.And another famous one is called"Happy Camp"It will bring you happy when you were sad,and make you happier when you were aready happy.Welcome to my hometown.

My Hometown

I was born in Hanamaki city, Iwate prefecture. It's in the western area of Iwate.


It's famous for Miyazawa Kenji who was born there and wrote some very famus storys and poems,  and wanko-soba, a kind of noodle.




Miyazawa Kenji was born in 1896. His great works, for example 「I will not give in to the rain」 and 「Night of the Milky Way Railway」,  have been handed down since he died. But he had not been a popular writer before his death. Kusano Sinpei tried to make Miyazawa Kenji's works be known.





 

Wanko-soba is a style to eat soba. An amount of soba you can drink at one time is sereved until you close the top of the bowl. Iwate has two tournaments in Morioka city and in Hanamaki city. But Hanamaki's is larger than Morioka's. The highest score is 254 cups in 5 minutes.













Hanamaki has other great cultures and nature.
You should visit my hometown or live!!!

My hometown, HIrosaki

My hometown, Hirosaki is famous for good apples, beautiful cherry blossoms and nice  Hirosaki castle, you know. Today, I am going to tell you another charm of Hirosaki.

Hirosaki has many European style buildings that were built in Meiji era. People in Hirosaki at the time invited many foreign teachers and missionaries to make Hirosaki university town. Owing to such civilization and enlightenment, western style buildings were built and western culture was spread.

Look at the picture. It is the building for foreign teacher of former Hirosaki High school. Sorry for my miss transration but you have ever seen it, haven't you? It is on the site of Hirosaki University now, so you can visit there after school!
 

 

   This is a picture of United Church of Christ in Japan Hirosaki Church, which is the first Protestant Church in the Tohoku district.

 

 

 

It is former Hirosaki city library in the Ootemon square near the Hirosaki Park.

There are more old buildings in Hirosaki. They are very wonderful and worth to visit. I hope you visit there and enjoy the atmosphere.

My Hometown

Today,I'll talk about my hometown.

My hometown is Hirosaki city.

 Now,most of you live in Hirosaki so you may know anything about this city.

This is a picture of Hirosaki castle. I took and process this picture.

This castle was built about 400 years ago. Hirosaki is a castle town of the Tsugaru clan.

This castle is in the Hirosaki Park.

There are some festivals in the park. You should enjoy these festivals.


Another charateristic  point of this city is a dialect("hougen"in Japanese)

People in Hirosaki speak "Tsugaruben."

For people who came from other region, Tsugaruben seems very difficult to understand.

My hometown

Good evening,everyone!


My hometown is Izu city in Shizuoka prefecture.
Izu city is in the east of Shizuoka and in the middle of Izu peninsula.

There are many wonderful things .
For example,Izu city is famous for wasabi and shiitake.
In particular,the wasabi becomes first class brand.

This picture is a wasabi field.
There are so many wasabi fields and cultivating them continue from Edo era.
However,it is difficult to cultivate them well because cool water is needed continually.


Moreover,hot springs are also famous in Izu city.
Izu peninsula is closely related with volcano.
So there are many hot springs and people visit there for sightseeing.
Please visit there and take a hot spring bath.

This is Waterfall of Joren.
It is one of 100 selections of Japanese waterfalls.
It is very beautiful and magnificent!
And it has legend that incarnation of Nephila Clavata lives in the bottom of waterfall.



Izu city has many attractive things and places.
The nature is also beautiful.
Please visit and enjoy those things.

My Hometown

Good evening,everyone!

My hometown is Hirosaki city.

Although you may know that there are festivals with the four seasons in Hirosaki,I introduce winter festival.The festival is called "Hirosaki Castle Snow Lantern Festival."
This is held in Hirosaki park in February every year.

There are snow hut which is "Kamakura" in Japanese,and statues made of snow.At night,they are lighted up and you can see fantastic scene. Light reflect in snow.It's very beautiful!

 

 

Furthermore,many events such as stalls,big snow slide,and stage show.It seems that the samisen circle of our university also performs.

The person who comes to a snowy region for the first time can enjoy making snowman or snow hut,and having a snowball fight.

My hometown

Good evening, everyone!
I'm Nana Chiba.

My hometown is Tono City in Iwate prefecture.
Tono city is in almost the middle of Iwate Prefecture and at the foot of Mount Hayachine.

Tono city is famous for "tono-monogatari".
"Tono-monogatari" is a falk tale which has been handed down
from generation to generation in the city.
Kunio Yanagida , a folklore scholar in Japan, published a book
named "tono-monogatari" in1910.

This is a picture of "kappa-buchi".
It is told that  "kappa" live in this stream.
"Kappa" is a river goblin in English.
It  is one of the symbols in the city and  appeares in " tono-monogatari".

In addition, there are beautiful natural scenely, various folk arts
and delicious regional cuisines in the city.

Tono city is a very attractive city and I'm proud of it.
If you are interested in my hometown, please ask me about it and visit in the city someday.

Nana Chiba

My hometown

My hometown is Anshan City of Liaoning Province of China. It is located at the northeast of China. The latitude of Anshan City is almost the same of Hirosaki City. But Anshan is in the inland area so its rainfall is far more smaller than Hirosaki’s. Anshan’s population is 3,65million. And the area of Anshan is almost 4times of Tokyo.

Anshan is an industrial city. Anshan is bounded in iron resource. It is famous for its big iron producing company “Angang”, which is the second largest iron company in China. There are almost 100thousand stuffs in the company. In China everyone knows Anshan, just because of the famous Iron company.

Anshan is also a good place for tourist. Mount Qian is the most famous view spot. Mount  Qian means a thousand mountains. So there are many mountains in Mount Qian. And also many trees, rocks.

Anshan’s local special product is a kind of pear called Nanguoli(南果梨). It’s very soft and sweet, the taste is special. It is also a good present.

Anshan has a big figure of the Buddha,which is made of jade. It is the most big jade figure of Buddha in the world. It is treated as Anshan’s treasure and patron saint. Every year,many people go there for pray.

 I'm majoring in music.

 I love music very much.
 I play the piano and the French horn.
 I sometimes compose the music too.
 I have ever composed ballad, orchestra, and piano musics.

 I'm from Hokuto-shi next to Hakodate, Hokkaido.
 Not from USA!
 But my father is from Los Angeles, USA.
 I have ever been there about 10 times.

 My favorite food is Tonkatsu.
 Why don't you go to a Tonkatsu restaurant with me someday?
