About my hometown

I am from HAKODATE in HOKKAIDO.I move each three years when I was child. When I was junior high school student, I move from OSAKA to TOMAKOMAI in HOKKAIDO.I lived there for five years.
So.I do not know where my hometown is.
Then, I introduce about TOMAKOMAI.
Spisula  and ice hochey is famous there.
And there are many factories.
TOMAKOMAI is a industrial area.

I had lived in Sendai for 17years.
Sendai is famous for " zunda", "sasakama"and "beef tongue"!
Zunda is made of soybeans.
Sasakama contains fishes!
Beef tounge is called" gyutan" !
The weather is  mild, especially it is very comfortable in the summer.
 A lot of trees are  planted along a way and they shut out the light,so they make shade.

I want to introduce my hometown. My hometown is Aomori city. It is the prefectural capital of Aomori prefecture.
There is a famous remain in Aomori city. I want to introduce this remain. It is called “sannaimaruyama iseki.” I think most of you have seen this name  in history textbook.  Sannaimaruyama is the biggest remain of Jomon period. Hundreds of thousands people visit this remain every year. We can see many interesting displays and we can also experience ancient people's tasks.
It is worth visiting. When you go to Aomori city, please visit there once!

 Hello! I introduce my hometown to you. My hometown is Hirosaki. Hirosaki is famous of apples and the cherry blossoms, and Hirosaki has a lot of French restaurant. I don't know what's reasons. Hirosaki also has season's festivals. In spring, there is “sakura matsuri”. In summer, there is “neputa matsuri”. In fall, there is “kiku to momiji matsuri”. In winter, “yuki toro matsuri”. All is very beautiful, and I like festival of spring and winter. You can eat various foods in each festival.

 Hello. I’m Rika. I introduce about my hometown.

I from Mikasa in Hokkaido. This city is as abundant in nature as Hirosaki. I go to school by bus to Iwamizawa when I was a high school student. I like Iwamizawa too much, however, Mikasa is the best in Hokkaido. There are two reasons.

 First, there is a hot spring called “taiko-no-yu”. There was held about two years ago. I think the food cooked there is delicious. My best menu is a bowl of rice topped with roast pork. In addition to, there is many types of hot springs, for instance, bubble bath, an open-air bath, and so on.

 Second, Mikasa has a delicious local food. It’s called “cinnamon-role”. It is a role cake covered cinnamon. They can buy there only and I have never known that. It’s very delicious, so sometimes I want to eat it.

 Mikasa is an excellent place. If you go to Hokkaido, you should go there!

My Hometown

I am Kawakami Takumi. My hometown is Mutsu City, Aomori. Hirosaki and Mutsu are both Aomori prefecture but it takes about three hours to move from Hirosaki to Mutsu by the trains. Mutsu is the first city that got Hira-gana name. Mutsu is famous for Mt.Osorezan, one of sacred places. Scallop is also famous thing in Mutsu. It is so delicious. Mutsu is not so big urban but I can relax while being in Mutsu.

     Hi, everyone! I'm Kei. Today's topic is my hometown. My hometown is Aomori city in Aomori prefecture. there is a prefectural capital.
     Do you know what kind of a dialect is spoken in Aomori city? A lot of people think we speak 'Aomori-ben.' ('Ben' means 'a dialect.') But, In fact, you cannot find such dialect. There are two dialects, 'Tsugaru-ben' and 'Nambu-ben' in Aomori prefecture. 'Tsugaru' means western part of Aomori and 'Nambu' does Eastern part. Aomori city is in Tsugaru area. So people living there speak 'Tsugaru-ben.'
     If you come to Aomori city in summer, you can see thrilling festival 'Aomori Nebuta.' It is vary famous as three big festival in Tohoku in Japan. You may say 'I know there is a similar festival in Hirosaki city.' There are, however, big differences between them. I'm sorry to Hirosaki citizens, but I think Aomori Nebuta is more stirring festival. Hayashi-kata is performing exiting music, many kinds of big Nebutas are been hauling, thousands of Haneto are jumping and crying 'Rasse-ra!' out loud. I love it and I want you to know how exiting it is. Why don't you go to Aomori city next summer?

 My home town is Obihiro. Obihiro is in the east part of hokkaido. Its climate is cold comparatively.In winter, you can see a lot of snow.
 "Butadon" is a popular food in here which is composed of rice, porks, and so on. Sometimes vegitables are contained.
In particular,I think that  remarkable features of Obihiro is agriculture and dairy farming. Cheese and milk which are made in this place are very popular throughout Japan. And more, if you go there, you can eat some potetos which tastes good.
You may feel that Obihiro is a countryside. But there are some big shopping stores and big buildings.

 Hi! I'm Ryota Nakagawa. I want to introduce my home town for you. I'm from yonezawa city. Yonezawa city is a part of Yamagata prefecture. There was a castle in Yonezawa city many years ago. So Yonezawa city is similar to Hirosaki city in castle town.
 There is a famous festival in Yonezawa city. The festival's name is the uesugi festival. Many people come to the festival from all over the japan. Previously, in the festival, I saw Satoshi Isii, who is an Olympic gold medalist. The festival is loved by many people.
 Yonezawa city is a little rural area but there are many things that make us happy. I love my home town.

Today,I'll introduce about my hometown,Hirosaki.
I have lived in Hirosaki.Born and raised.
Hirosaki is famous for cherry blossom,apple and castle tower in the Hirosaki Park.
However, I think there are good places expect them in Hirosaki.
For instance,first,Choshozi.This temple was built in 1528,and it's oldest in Hirosaki.Many temples are standing in the street,it's called "Zenringai".Choshozi attracts people's attention especially because it's so big!
Next, I recommend Mt.Iwaki.We can see it clearly and beautifully.You can enjoy four appearances of Mt.Iwaki throughout the seasons.I like spring of Mt.Iwaki the best.
Finally,I think Tugaru accent is the most interesting.We have a strong accent,so strangers are often confused us,because they can't understand what we speak.My favorite word is "Megoi",it means "Cute".I want many people to know Tugaru accent.
Hirosaki is not a big city,but I love Hirosaki.It's very warm town!

Hi,I`m Yuki Itou.
My home town is Sappro in Hokkido.
 Sappro is famous for Sapporo Clock Tower ,Snow faestival ,Sapporo TV tower and so on.
 Let me write about Sapporo Clock Tower first.
It was built about 130 years ago.   There are many tall buildings around it ,so it is very unique in Sapporo and make us calm,relaxed.
 Sapporo Snow festival is held for one week in Feburary.
There are many statues made of ice and they are lighted up at night.
They are very beautiful,so if you have`t  visited the festival yet,please try to visit.

Hi I'm Hiroki Yoshida. My hometown is Matsuyama City,Ehime prefecture. Ehime is in Shikoku. There are two main tourist spots in Matsuyama. One is Matsuyama castle. Matsuyama is castle town like Hirosaki. But Matsuyama castle is bigger than Hirosaki castle. Matsuyama castle is very big castle. Two is Dougo Hot Spring. It is said that this hot spring is the oldest hot spring in Japan. "Spirited Away" modeled on this hot spring. Thank you.

  Hi, my name is Hinano Yaginuma. I want to introduce my hometown, Hachinohe City in Aomori. There are many tasty food in Hachinohe. Especially, Hachinohe is famous for squids and Senbei-jil.Senbei-jil won the victoryin B-1 grand prize. My mother often made me it and it is very good. Also, there are many famous natural place - Tanesashi coast, Kabushima shrine, Hachinohe harbor etc. You can see a beautiful view, if you visit there. I recomend you that you visit Hachinohe harbor on Sunday morning because morning market of the best in Jaopan is held. You can eat various sea food. You can go Hachinohe City easy because it is very close. Thank you.

  In summer, most people look forward to Neputa festival, but I'll tell you about another festival. The festival called Yomiya is held in some shrines. We can enjoy various food stands. Going around them is very exciting.

  In autumn, tree changing leaves are beautiful. Some places near Hirosaki park are lit up in the night, so you can see these trees at night. 

  In winter, we have a lot of snow and the town become white. The illuminations become more gorgeous. You should see that fantastic view.

Machida is located between Tokyo and Kanagawa prefecture, so we can go easily from Machida to Sinjuku and Yokohama, that are most biggest city in Japan. Kiritanpo is made from rice.
Kiritanpo festival is held in Odate every autmn.

Second,Hinaijidori is a special product of Odate.
It is one of three major chicken of Japan.
Just like Nagoya cochin and Satumajidori,Hinaijidori  is delicious.

Lastly,Hachiko is famous for Odate.
Speaking of him,some people joint Shibuya station and him.
But he was from Odate.
Also Hachiko is famous for Akitadog.

 There are about million people in the city.

 Yokohama is the second largest city in Japan and one of the cities most used to seeing foreigners. Yokohama`s Chinatown is the largest in Japan and dates back to the Opening of Japan in 1859. The Bay Stars Stadium is probably one of the most fun places to watch a baseball game in Japan.

 Hakone is part of the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park, less than 100 kilometers from Tokyo. Hakone is famous for hot springs, natural beauty and the view of nearby Mt.Fuji.

 There are attractions that make Kawasaki a unique side trip, including a Buddihist temple that ranks as one Japan`s top there most visited temples during the New Year.

My hometown is Nagoya in Aichi. Let me talk about attractions of Nagoya.
First, Nagoya is very livable place. This city is said one of the three largest city in Japan. So, many people think there are a lot of large buildings everywhere in Nagoya. In fact, Nagoya mainly consists of housing district. Public transportation is developed so people in Nagoya can move to center of the city quickly.
Second, Nagoya has a unique food culture. One of them is aka-miso. In Japan, shiro-miso is said the standard of miso. Aka-miso in Aichi is called hattyo-miso, which is black rather than red. It is used many dish. I think hattyo-miso is more flavorful than other miso. Of course, there is not hattyo-miso in Hirosaki. So I miss it.
Nagoya is very attractive city in a lot of respect. Why don't you visit Nagoya?

   My hometown is Hirosaki. Hirosaki is famous for apple, cherry blossom, and or so. But my favorite point of Hirosaki is "Tsugaruben".When we are in university, it is uneasy to hear it because there are many people who is from other prefecture. As an oppotunity permits, please pay attention to it. You may feel that speakers of "Tsugaruben" are cold-heart people because its tone is so curt. But they are very kind people so I want you to understand it. It makes no sense to introduce Hirosaki because you already know about here, I think. sorry.

Hi! I'm Yukino Nikai. Let me talk about my hometown. My home town is Kitami in Tokyo. The population of Tokyo is very large and there are many tall buildings. Tokyo has a lot of famous place. For example, Shinjuku, Odaiba, Asakusa, Shibuya, Shimokitazawa, and so on. I would go to Shinjuku in particular. I went to the cram school in Shinjuku five days a week when I was a high school student. Moreover I often went shopping there. There are many women's clothing store, so I like Shinjuku. On the other hand, Kitami is small and deserted, but overflowing with nature.There are  fields, rice paddies and rivers. I would play outdoors in my childhood. I love Kitami and childhood friends.

I belong to a course of teaching Japanese in the department of education. And I major in linguistic of Japanese. I'm interested in language and I think it is important for us to reconsider Japanese, what we use usually. I want to learn about this.However, I have a few knowledge about Japanese linguistic. It makes me hard to understand grammar, pragmatics and so on deeply...So I have to read study more.

This town is famous for apple which called "Fuji", you know.It is known as king of apple.This apple is native of Fujisaki and be made the most in the world.
This town was also famous for swans.A lot of swan had been came to Fujisaki in winter.However, they seldom come today because of the decrement of person who feed them.(Bird-flu made us be not able to approach them, so they can't eat enough...)
Additionaｌly, this town held a fireworks display on Ａugust 20 every year.A great number of people come to Fujisaki to watｃh this festival.Would you like to come  this town in summer, too?

  My hometown is Towada City in Aomori. The population of Towada City is about 65,000. But Towada City is the third largest city in Aomori.

  Recently, Towada Barayaki is very famous. Barayaki is B-grade gourmet what means cheap everyday food that most people enjoy.

I am Ryo Murakami, my hometown is Shizukuishi in Iwate Prefecture. There are two great things about my hometown. First, there are a lot of spas in Shizukuishi. While I was living there, I would go to a spa called “Anekko” with my family once or twice a month. I want to go there again. The other great point about my hometown is that we have a delicious ice cream shop called “Matsubokkuri”. Have you heard of it? It is a famous place in Shizukuishi. You can find a new favorite ice cream if you go there.

Participants walk and jump in this festival. They must become tired and hungry. But no problem. There are many delicious food in Aomori city. Especially, seafood is so nice. It`s famous for nokke-don in Aomori city. It`s said "Seeing is believing". You must come and eat them!
   I think the charge of the seasons is quite noticable in Aomori city. For example, cheery trees have four faces. It`s pink in spring, it`s green in summer, it`s red and yellow in autumn, and it`s white in winter. Like this Aomori city is so beautiful. It`s not distant from Hirosaki city, so please come to Aomori city.

  Hello, I'm Wataru Tanaka. I'll talk about my home town.
  I'm from Ageo in Saitama. Ageo city is smaller than Hirosaki city ,but the number of people who live in Ageo is lager than Hirosaki city, because a lot of people go to Tokyo  in the daytime.  Saitama have a lot of houses ,but have few famous place for that reason. There is noting famous , but in summer it is very hot in Saitama. In the past , it had over 40℃ ! I think you should not go to Saitama in summer, if you don't have strong reason.
  Do you know Kureyon-Shinchan ? I think it is famous Japanese comic. Kureyon- Shinchan is a comic whose characters live  in Saitama. This is only thing that I come up with about Saitam.
 If you have a chance, please go to Saitama !

About my hometown

Hello. I'm Kawasima Kentarou. My hometown is Mashiko in tochigi. There are about 2000000 people in Tochigi. Tochigi is famous for Nikko or strawberry. Nikko Tousyouguu is a world heritage. Strawberry is a special product of Tochigi. Mashiko is small town. There are about 24000 people. But, Mashiko is famous for Mashikoyaki that is pottery. Toukiiti is held every spring and winter in Mashiko. In there, you can see many potteries and buy them. Moreover, Mashiko has many cultural assets. They are Saimyouji, jizouin, and entuuji. If you come Tochigi in spring or winter, you should go Toukiiti. Thank you.

My home town is Aomori(青森) city. This city is the prefectural of Aomori.
However, the history of this city is very short. In the Edo period, this town originally developed as a small trading port town under the rule of Hirosaki clan. Ocean liners made the crossing from Aomori to Edo and Hakodate. So many people and goods had come and gone.
Now people regard this city less as a port town than as a sightseeing spot. For example, we can enjoy Nebuta in summer. we also enjoy skiing in Hakkoda in winter.

HIrosaki city has many beautiful cherryblossom trees and traditional buildings.
Hirosaki is called "coffee town".
There are a lot of coffee shops in hirosaki.
But I don`t know well them because i don`t go there so much. I like to drink coffee in my house.
I live in Gojikkoku town in Hirosaki city.
Gojikkoku town were made when Hirosaki castle were constructed.
In order to protect the east part of Hirosaki castle , Intermediate samurai lived there.
Since then the name of my home town "gojikkoku" were not changed.

     My hometown is Odate City. Odate is in the north part of Akita. It takes only 40 minutes to move to Odate from Hirosaki. So we can go to Odate easily.
     Odate has a lot of delicious foods. One of them is kiritanpo. It is made from rice, akitakomati. Odate people often eat kiritanponabe in winter. I ate it last week. It was very delicious.
     Odate is also Hachi's hometown. Do you know Hachi? He is a smart dog. He is famous in Shibuya. Many people meet ther friends in front of the bronze statue of Hachi. But almost of the people don't know he is from Odate. So I want people to know that.

     My name is Yuta Takebayashi. Please let me introduce myself. I'm from Tokyo.Many people think that there are a lot of buildings in Tokyo everywhere, but it is misunderstanding.I want to introduce Sinjuku Gyoen. This is a beautiful garden located between Sinjuku and Shibuya. You can see three different garden; Japanese, British and French garden in the metropolis. I was graduated from TOHO high school. TOHO is a boy's school established at 1942. TO means paulownia, which is a symbol of Tukuba university, and HO means a friend, so TOHO means a friend of Tukuba university. TOHO regards freedom as important. There is no school 
uniform and school rules, so students can get one's hair colored, pierce one's ears, go to school by scooter and so on. There are some famous people graduated from TOHO; Jiro Akagawa, who is a writer,and  Hidetoshi 
Nisijima, who is an actor.I belong to three circle for medical students, and playing tennis, futsal and basketball.We played them pleasantly with boys an girls.
     My major is human medicine.It takes 6 years to graduate medical school and I must study a lot to become a good doctor.A Good doctor has an enormous knowledge about not only medicine but also general studies.In Hirosaki university,we,freshman, have to study liberal arts.I think this is a good curriculum for medical students,who will be a good doctor.I try hard to study a lot to become a good doctor.

  Hi. I'm Michiru Horiuchi. I'd like to introduce my hometown. I was born and grew in Hirosaki City. In there, you see a beautiful view all year around. For example, cherry blossoms, Neputa festival, chrysanthemums and autumnal tints festival, and snow festival.
 Also, there are a lot of Cafe. Actually, Hirosaki is famous for coffee since the old days So, you

   I live in Hirakawa city in Aomori. I love Hirakawa because I can commune with nature. We can enjoy the change of season. Also, there is Sebien which is a great building and a wonderful garden. I can feel nature there, too.

Hello! My name is Shota Sasaki. My hometown is Akita city. There are about 318,000 people.  There are "Kanto Festival" in every August. It is one of the most famous festival in Tohoku. And a park, "Senshu Park" is popular about cherry blossoms and the colored leaves in Akita. Hirosaki is also famous about cherry blossoms, both of the two are good. If you go to Akita, you should visit "Senshu Park", and see cherry blossoms. Akita city is good place. Please visit there!
