Actually, Sagamihara lies between Tokyo and.... Yokohama! If I walk for one minute, I arrive at Tokyo : )
BUT there is not middle of Tokyo but suburb of Tokyo...  So I can't boast of my hometown.  nothing...

Hello!

My name is Chieko Kogawa. I am a freshman of Hirosaki University, and I major in chemistry. I like chemistry very much, so I'm really happy to learn it.

I'm from Nakasato in Aomori prefecture. Although it is a small rural town, I like my hometown very much because it is a very quiet place. My parents grow rice there, so I can always eat delicious rice. But now I am living in Hirosaki because Nakasato is too far from Hirosaki to go to the university every day.

When I'm free, I often cook or read a book. I can make hamburg stake, nikujaga, oyakodonn, and so on. I usually make meat dish, so I'm worried that I'm lacking in vegetable! Of course, I can also make sweets. On my friend's birthday, I made a banana cake for her. Next time I'm going to make some sweets using sweet potato.

Since I have been studying at my desk or reading books, I'm not good at playing sports. In fact, I don't like sports very much. But I want to become a teacher, so now I must attend sports class! It makes me very depressed.

My Club

 I belong to Igo Club. I think go is the most interesting game and I have played go when I was a junior high school student., so I decided to join Igo Club in this university. Yesterday, go meeting was held in Mutsushinpo. I participated in the meeting for recording games. Some of my seniors played the tournament and one of them placed fourth. I want to say to him "Congratulations." His skill of go is top-class in my club and he is much stronger than me. Although I was busy studying for final exams, I was glad to take part in the meeting.

 Before the class, I knew this song but I didn't know that how this song was made and that this song was sung all over the world. Why is this song so famous? Is it because that this song is a hymn? I think that this song is readily-accepted for many people and taht the lyrics have something important significant for them through their own experience.

FEBRUARY ONE

 I watched four students' act with courage in this video. They learned thinking of Mahatma Gandhi or they protested against Jim Crow by non-violence. I was impressed by their courage. I thought that the black citizens were given civil rights and that the first black president was elected in the United States as the result of effort which brave people like them made.

The Sound Of Silence

 When I was a junior high school student, I heard this song for the first time. Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel formed Simon & Garfunkel and they sang this song. This is the song of the beautiful sound. I hope you listen to this song.

 I have English ⅢA class. The other day I knew a song in the class. The song is "Wherever You Will Go" sung dy The Calling. This song was released on July 10th, 2001. However, this song sold well in the fall of that year. Why do you think so? According to Mr.Murayama, who is my English ⅢA calss teacher, "The simultaneous terrorist attacks happened in the fall of the year. The words to the song was superimposed on the grief in the tragic accident." The song is sang, "If I could, then I would, I'll go wherever you will go." I think this song is powerful and makes listeners encouraging.

Summer plan

 I'll take a weather forcaster test in the summer vacation. I'm interested in weather, so I would like to try the test. It is very difficult test and pass rate for the test is only about 5 percent. A great majority of people who passed the test had failed the test many times. In other words, few people pass the test on ones' first attempt. This is my first attempt. I want to get the feel of the place which I take the test and to understand how difficult I pass the test. However, of course I'll do my best.

My major

 My major is global environment. I'm interested in weather, so I entered this university to study it. When I was a nursery school child I liked to see weather forecasts in the newspaper. I cut up the weather maps from the newspaper and I collected it. I came to be interested in weather as a result of it. Global environment is the one of the most remarkable problem, especially global warming. Global environment supports your life, so you shuold think more about this problem.

My favorite movie

I introduce the movie, "JUNO".  JUNO's theme is "A pregn oancy of student". This theme is very serious, but I felt positive when I finished watching this movie.
It was at ⅢA English class that I first watched JUNO. JUNO was used as a teaching material. I borrowed it for study, and watched throughout the story. After the class, I had bought JUNO.

My favorite movie

 My favorite movie is Harry Potter series. I was hooked on this movie when I was a junior high school student. However, I don't watch all series and I don't read all stories. I stop watching "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and I stop reading "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" before coming to the end. I don't have a chance to watch or read. My friends always say to me that I don't have to watch all series. Why? If I have a chance, I will watch the other series.

My hobby

 I enjoy go as my hobby. It is also called igo. Go is a board game. The rule is very simple, but go itself is complex. However, I think it is very interesting, so I am hooked on go. I enjoy playing go in the club or on the Internet. Go is popular in East Asian countries such as Chine, Korea, Taiwan and Japan. My favorite season

 My favorite season is autumn. I have some reasons. First, autumn is the best season about climate. It is not too hot and not too cold, so it is very comfortable. Spring is similar to autumn in terms of climate but I'm sensitive to spring pollen. Second, I think autumn is the best season for doing various things. As is often said, autumn is the best season for reading or sports. I'm not good at reading but I'm willing to do sports in this season. Third, you can eat various fruits in autumn. I like peaches, pears, apples, grapes, persimmons, chestnuts, and so on. They ripens in autumn, so I am looking forward to eat them in autumn. Therefore, I like autumn.

 I'll introduce Real-time Earthquake Map. It is a website, which provides information of the earthquake happened all over the world. You can know the place, magnitude, time and depth of hypocenter of the recent earthquakes. USGS have the website running. USGS is United States Geological Survey and it is a scientific agency of the United States government. Scientists of the USGS study biology, geological science, geography and hydrology. They also observe volcanos.

Hirosaki city is famous for its cherry blossoms. Every year, many people visit it to see them.
The cerry blossoms in Hirosaki may be the most beautiful around the end of April till the begin of May.

A foreign species

This spring ,I joined a Field science club.In the club,We capture insects or frogs, crabs...some small animals, and we often make a specimen.So I have a chance of thinking about living things.

Foreign species bring many serious problems to us and animals. For example, in Okinawa and Amamiooshima, mongooses from South-West Asia are affecting rare animals in the island such as an Okinawa rail. In Guam, Brown tree snake from Australia ate endemic birds, and 8 of 11 species died out. Foreign species damige not only animals but also us. Raccoons from North America and Coypu from South America spoil crop. Foreign Grasses are one of the causes for our hay fever. Thus, foreign animals have bad influences, and I think we should be careful about living things when we travel abload.

Communication of alcohol

Do you know the word "Nominication"?
This is the coinage meaning communication using alcohol.

It is used at a company too.  If people enter the company, maybe there are some events, for example, the sociable, year-end party or new year party.  These parties are used the way of communication.
Surprisingly, the cost of these are gave the part of grant (at partial company).

I think this system is good for adapting to life of company.  It appear the important aspect that the human relations is very important fopr society.

But at university, is "Nominication" important for university student?  Of course, alcohol is one way of communication for student too.  However is become problem causing the acute alcoholic poisoning like May 7th at the university of Hokkaido.  So if we use alcohol for communication, we have to know the risk of alcohol, not only good point.

Earthquake, on 11th March, 2011

 The day I went to Aomori Airport by plane with my mother during the morning, and we got to Hirosaki Station and joined my father. After having lunch, we went to Hirosaki University for formalities of Hirosaki University Coop. While we were in Bunkyoushokudou for it, the earthquake had occurred and caused power failure. However, we continued the formalities because the earthquake vibrations were long but weren't strong. We went to the hotel by cab after the formalities. Traffic lights didn't turn on because of power failure. After we had supper in the dark room, we spent the whole night around the cold hotel lobby. The next day, I was surprised at the suffering caused by the earthquake to watch TV in the cellphpne shop. We went to Aomori Airport by bus in the afternoon and we could get home in Osaka at night. I had an uneasy, unusual and once-in-a-lifetime experience.

 I'm Makie Uchiyama. I'm from Onoe in Hirakawa city which is near Hirosaki city. Onoe is a town found in the countryside of Japan.
 My hometown is famous for　盛美園(Seibien). It is a house with a beautiful garden and compromises between Japanese and Western styles. In order to see this garden and this house, many tourists visit　盛美園 every year. And morever, It is said that "かりぐらしのアリエッティ", 宮崎駿's animation, was modeled after the garden at 盛美園. I've not wacthed this movie yet, but I've been to 盛美園 once. It was so beautiful !! You should visit there:)

My home town

My home town is Sapporo city.
Sapporo is one of the most famous large cities in Japan, and this city includes a lot of area from a street of big business buildings to a residential street and farm.
 I raised in the area called Tonden of Kitaku.
Tonden's characteristic is it is surrounded windbreak.The windbreak was planted, because there is storong wind.In winter, it become a blinding snowstorm which we call Tonden-blizzard.

My Hometown

 Hello!

 My hometown is Takatsuki in Osaka, which is somewhere between Osaka City and Kyoto City. I was born in Tonda located in the southwest of Takatsuki.
 Tonda has many temples and Honshouji is one of the most famous temples in Tonda. A friend of mine didn't enter high school because he followed the temple as a priest.
 Making sake or rapeseed oil was flourishing. However, now only two sake breweries are left and residential area spreads.
 I was born and brought up in this city, so I love it.

     I learned a lot of things from this class. Before I take the class, I didn’t know about English writing rules. For example, when I write English assignment in hand, I didn’t leave any margin on the both sides, and I didn’t know about paragraph rule. So, at first, there were many mistakes corrected in red ink by teacher in my assignments, but recently, these have decreased. I think this progress was brought by the lessons and writing assignments every week. Although the semester finished, I’ll keep writing English sentences to progress my English skills.

Hamlet

    Before I watched that movie, I knew only that Hamlet is the tragedy written by William Shakespeare, and it is one of the most famous tragedies in the world. I was interested in it, but I thought it is difficult for me to understand, so I had never read and watched yet.  

     When I watched that movie, I thought most the characters in that story are pitied. Hamlet is poor, but I think Gertrude who is a Hamlet’s mother and her husband was killed by brother in law, Ophelia whose father killed by Hamlet, and Laertes whose father and sister died are more pitiful person.

     Because this movie is interesting, I’ll try to read and watch other Shakespeare's stories and movie!

 I do not see a movie about tragedy. Because I like happy ending.But Hamlet was good.Was easy to see but black-and-white film.Particularly good actress. I wanted to also look at a movie called «Roma Holiday».

Hamlet

Two weeks ago and three weeks ago, we watched a movie. The title of a movie was "Hamlet".

Actually, I do not watch movies made in foreign country very much. So I know only the title of  "Hamlet", and I do not know other things. Is Hamlet a woman? I thought it right first.
There is a few things I felt when I ended watching it.
First, I felt frighting. This movie is not horror movie but I thought it was horrifying. Maybe because of I saw the back of human 's hatred.
And I also felt sad. Hamlet die in the end, and story is contained its sorrow. If it ends happy end, I cannot feel these distress.

This movie was a chance I have interested in foreign movies for me. When I have a free time, I try to watch movie made in foreign country as possible as I can.

Hamlet

I watched tragedy for the first time. I like comedy movies very much and I wouldn't watch tragedy until now. In the end, many people died one after another. Tragedy is very profound and when I finished watching Hamlet, there was something I couldn't understand. There was something I couldn't feel after finishing watching comedy movies. What is tragedy? I can't answer well now. Tragedy is what is not only happy end? I think that it is not easy like that. There is something that give us opportunities to think various things in tragedy. Anyway, I enjoyed watching Hamlet. I want to watch other tragedy movies.

Hamlet

 I've known Hamlet but never read or watched it till I watched it in the class last day. "Hamlet is really tragedy!" This is my first comment. A lot of people died and finally even Hamlet did! " To be or not to be, that is the question" is the most famous word in this story and I think so, too 'cause there are many interpretation of it. As many interpretation say, I also think that line means " to live, or not to live"  If he goes on living, he can accomplishes his father's vengeance. But if he doesn't, he never does. Hamlet is really sincere.  He places his father's revenge priority over his life. If my important person is killed, can I do it? This is difficult question!  "To die, to sleep" is also impressive for me.  he says "To sleep: perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub. For in that sleep of death what dreams may come."  Will I have a dream after the death? What kinds of?  This story left me some big questions. I want to read this story in English!

　My winter vacation is joy.I often work a part time job in my vacation.I think a part time job is the growth of college student.I want to work more in my colloege life.Next,I enjoy a christmas party with my friends.We make a cake and exchange a present.I get the present which I like water ball.Water ball is very beautiful.This makes atmophere that I'm happy.Also,I saw my cousins after a long separation. I was very happy at the news of my cousin's marriage.There are many happy things in my winter vacation.

My Activities Over Break

　New Year has not returned to Okinawa. I was in Hirosaki. Went to the New Year with friends hatsumode. This is a photo.

　I pulled a written oracle with friend. And Emma wrote a prayer of passing friends.After that ate at my house made ​​pasta.It is enjoyed.

My Activities Over Break

     This winter vacation is shorter than the past like a high-school or so, but I lived a full time. That is because I met old friends, and we had a good time.

     I have a good relationship with them, because we used to be members of the student’s association in a same junior-high school. Although we went on to different high-school, we get to together every winter. But last winter, we could not meet because of preparing for entrance examinations. So, it had been two years since I saw them last. Before that, I felt a little nervous, however the conversation grew more lively. Going bowling, eating lunch together, and after that going Karaoke, it is usual plan for us. I really enjoyed all that time. Especially, when they sang, I listened to the singing with rapt attention, and I wanted to listen more. I have good friends, so I want to keep that event.

About My Activities During Over Break

I backed my hometown : Ozora town. And I went to shopping with my parents. When I went to Kitami, I went to a new bookstore called "Coachand-Four".

It is the very large and complex store which is in the Hokkaido, and it sells books, stationery, and CDs. Moreover, Coachand-Four has a cafe  in the store like misterDonut, or Doutor Coffee. I dropped in there about a hour, but it is too short to look all of store. It is very very large ! If you go to Hokkaido, you should drop in there.

My activities over break

I went back to hometown, Sapporo city. I went shopping with my mother many times and I had her buy a lot of clothes. I met elementary school friends, went to Sapporo station and ate delicious rice porridge with talking about love. I also went an alumni association of high school. We ate grilled meat with drinking alcohol. They didn't change at all and the conversation became lively. I spent a pleasant time. I passed with my family on New Year's Eve. I ate a lot of dishes, sushi and two buckwheat noodles eaten on New Year's Eve. I was very happy to be able to eat a delicious food with my family. It was a very short break, but I had a lot of fun!

My active over break

I returned home at the end of the year and spent good time with my family.
In the moment seeing the old year out and the New Year in, I watched TV program.I ate ozoni, rice cake ,and many sweeets.And I watched Hakone Ekiden in this yaer.

Especially,the thing I enjoyed was party.This party is celebrating adviser's 60 th birthday.This party was going to be held last year.But it is impossible because of earthqauake.So,this party was held another time.I met adviser after a long separation.He was vigorous.I met many people-friends and senior-. I enjoyed talking with friends and senior. I was glad to be fine them.


This homecoming is very fruitful for me.And I'm lookig forward to meeting them again.

About my activities over break

I visited my native place from December 30th to Janualy 2nd.
When I got on a train to go back to Aomori, I was surprised because there is a senior of a circle I belong to in same train. He got off a train just before I get off, but I was pleased to see him then.
During my stay in home, I made myself at home. I watched TV, ate various food that cannot eat very much when I am in a school dormitory, and talked with my families about my school life. They were very fun.
In Janualy 1st, I went shopping with my mother and my senior brother. We went to "Ito Yokado", "UNICLO", "Super Drug Asahi", and "XEBIO". I was able to meet my friend of my high school life when I was in "UNICLO", and talked with him a few minutes. He will be a policeman in Februaly in this year, so we might seldom be able to meet each other. That is exactly why I will root for him! Also, I met another senior in my college life in "Ito Yokado". He was doing a part-time job. He was a last person I expect to see, and I was really surprised.

In afternoon on Janualy 2nd, I went back to a school dormitory because I was a being on duty of dormitory's key. But I slept about at 5:00 in this day. I think it is a reason I was tired.
Janualy 3rd and 4th, I was in Hirosaki. The fact of the matter is I wanted to stay my house a little longer. For all that winter vacation was end, so I do a mental revolution and keep at it!!

My activity during vacation

LOVE♥

 During this very short winter vacation, I went back to my hometown Sapporo and spent all my holidays on eating, sleeping, shopping and so on with my family. Thanks for over eating , I gained a couple of kilograms ha ha ha :\ I was very happy to see my dog LOVE. She is really fine for her age (She is 13 years old!)  I've missed her already! I visited my grandfather with my mother on 29,30th.　He is now 77 years old but fine too!　And there, I could see my cousin. On 31th, I spent all day in my home on watching TV, eating mochi and soba, reading books, playing with LOVE, talking with my family and so on. On 2nd Junually, I visited and worshipped at the Hokkaido Shrine with my sister and then went shopping to buy  really cheaper clothes and other things. I could buy a lot of things :D  On 3rd,  I met my boyfriend and at night left Sapporo 'cause my part-time job  the next day:\ It was really short vacation but I had a good time! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

My Activity over Break

In this break, I returned to Akita and I went to see a high school friend. He is one of my best friends regardless of sex. This time we enjoyed Akita foods at Mugendo:a restaurant in front of Akita station. We ate standard Akita foods. For example, Kiritanpo and Inaniwa-udon. But we found obscure Akita food!

It is Fried-Hatahata. Hatahata is famous fish of Akita. Akita people sometimes eat grilled-one. But I have never heard of Fried-one. It was used a hatahata whole. So, it had large volume and it looked beautiful. We enjoyed real taste of hatahata. With lemon, we also enjoyed different flavor.
Thanks to the Fried-Hatahata, we could rediscover the good thing about Akita.
Whether you are Akita people or not, I recommend you to enjoy Akita food:)

My Favorite Movie

     I love to watch movies, so I watched several kinds of movie. There are action movies, horror movies, science fiction films, animated films, a thriller…so many types of movie I like, but my favorite movie is a comedy film.

     Do you know “Home Alone”? It is kind of old movie I think, but it is still popular in Japan, which sometime appear on television. Its story is a little boy stays at home alone repulse thieves with several gimmicks. It gave me great satisfaction to see them beaten thoroughly. Maybe I saw 3 times this movie, but I am not tired of it. If you did not see this movie, I think you should!

This movie is very simple.But this movie is presents deep love.Young man and woman live their bitter life.they presents a bond of affection.

My favorite movie is "Commando" This is an Arnold　Schwarzenegger' s action movie, and it released in 1985. I like action movies so much. The reason why I like this movie is excellence of Japanese dubbing. Personally, I think this movie is the best action movie I 've ever seen.

My favorite movie is "Laputa:castle in the sky"This movie is one of works being made Studio Ghibli.This is very famous.So,this is broadcasted often.Recently,this is broadcasted on TV.
I especially like musics.The musics used in the movie is beauiful and fantastic.All music drive people imoressive.Especially,"KIMIWONOSETE" is the most wonderul!Meny person sing this song.This music is chorus song too.So,this is one of standard chorus song.

This is the movie, a title is "Tsugaru Hyakunenn Shokudoh".
It released on April 2nd, 2011. I watched a little later. This movie describes being in emotional turmoil of a protagonist's self, kindness of people, and a thought of being succeed to from generation to generation.
A stage of this movie is this place, Hirosaki. Beautiful sceneries in Hirosaki appear in this movie. I am from Aomori, and I find in something congenial to myself.
Now it is not showing, but DVD is selling. Please watch it once.

I like pure love and moving movie. I become to want to be in love after watching that movie. My favorite movie is Koizora. It was shown in2007. My favorite actor, Haruma Miura plays an important role in this movie. When he died of terminal cancer, I shed tears. This movie is beautiful anyway. I learned an effect of love from this movie.

I like SF movies the best. Especially my favorite movie is Jurassic Park. Jurassic Park is an American science fiction adventure thriller film using dinosaurs directed by Steven Spielberg. I liked dinosaurs very much when I was child and even now I love dinosaur although I've never seen them. I've very attracted by them somehow.They are huge( of course some of them are small ),wild and free and live in magnificent environment(on the film and my thought). I'm attracted such an natural environment, too. In short, I'm fascinated with the dinosaur era. I 'm very happy if I can go back to that era and see them, although I don't want to be eaten by ha ha:) By the way, have you ever been to USJ? Heartwarming Movie

My favorite movie is "HANAMIZUKI". It means "flowering dogwood" in English. This is a Japanese movie shown in 2010. This is a long love story between a young fisherman and a female highschool student who intends to go to a university. The leading actor is Toma Ikuta. Because his performance is good, he is one of my favorite actors. The leading actress is Yui Aragaki. She was a fashion model of the magazine I read when I was a junior high school student. So, she is also one of my favorite actresses. Not only leading actor and actress but also the other acters and actresses are magnificent. The most remarkable point is that the movie is filmed in Hokkaido, Tokyo, NewYork and Canada. We can enjoy many beautiful scenes. I suggest that you pay attention the scenes watching the movies. I couldn't expect the end and it came to an unexpect ending. In fact, I was moved to tears. I recommend to you watching the movie. "HANAMIZUKI" is sure to make you tender!

My favorite seasons

Hello.I will introduce my favorite season. I dislike cold,but I like winter.I have several reasons.First,I like snow.I like enjoy snow activities with my friedns.For example,I make snowman and kamakura every winter with my friends and family.I love this time.I'm happy.
Also,I like ski very much.Ski is very exiting sports.There are three times that I can go ski this year.I will spent happy time.

My Favorite Season

My favorite season is fall. I have two reasons why I think so.

     First, I think fall is the most comfortable because its climate is not too hot like summer, but not too cold like winter. In addition, it is not too humid like rainy season. Some of people said it is tired to select clothes because of the climates, but it is even my pleasure.

     Second, fall has beautiful scenery. Green leaves change the coler into red, yellow or brown, and they fall from the trees. I love this scenery, because when I watch that, I feel like kind of melancholy. It is the time I feel happiness to live in Japan.

First, fall is comfortable for me. Because the weather is good. The temperature is not too high without being too low. And there are often sunny days in fall.

My favorite season is Spring because of two reason.

First reason is that this season is very comfortable.For example,temperature is not too hot and not too cold.Temperature of Spring is moderate in me.And it is drowsy.It is expressed by old Chinese poetry.The poetry say "Good comfortable spring night,I don't wake quite in dawn." I think the words is courrect.


Second reason is the season begins with something new that is.For instance,in entry and employment, you will meet human who had never meet before ever.It is a new encounter.Or I think the season is the best to start new thing.New year start and I think easy to resolve and do something.So Spring is the season begings new things.


Spring is new years.Everyone change something in the season.I like the changing in Spring.

I like all seasons. Spring, summer, fall, winter each has many good aspects. In spring, it's getting warmer and warmer and many kinds of flowers are blooming.  Especially cherry blossom are great!! Animals also become active and  we human beings are not except. Spring is a season for starting something! I always feel like beginning something new in this season.  In summer, although it's very very hot, we can enjoy a lot of things: Swimming, camping, hiking, fireworks, festival...eating ice creams and so on !! But I hate mosquitoes. They always bite my arms and legs :\  Fall is the best season to see  the turning leaves. They turn red or yellow so mountains become really beautiful!!  Also, fall is the best time for reading, sports, appetite and  harvest. My appetite grows and I eat too much every this season :D Fruits such as apples and grapes are delicious! They are in season!  Now winter has  come and getting colder and colder. I always get frozen these days. But There are many joyful events in winter!! For example, X'mas, New Year, Snow festival, illumination. Now, I'm looking forward to X'mas party ♪

In conclusion,  I love all seasons.. Each season has a different charm. We can enjoy these four seasons. We should enjoy them!

About my favorite season

Good evening.
Today I will introduce about my favorite season.

The season I like is winter. It might be someone who does not like, but I think winter has a lot of good side.
First, we enjoy various events in winter. For example, there are Christmas, the New Year which is called "Shougatsu" in Japanese, and the last day of winter in the traditional lunar calendar which is "Setsubun" . "Shougatsu" and "Setsubun" are days which solemnize with families, friends, and so. In "Shougatsu" we look the sunrise on New Year's Day, play karuta, and eat rice cakes. In "Setsubun" we scatter parched beans to drive out evil spirits.  Resently these customs are decreasing, but these are enjoyable when we do it. Christmas is not a Japanese event by nature, however we enjoy this day respectovely.
Second, there are comparatively pastimes in winter. For example, skiing, skating, snowballing, kite-flying, etc. Aomori is the place there are a lot of snow in winter, and especially we can enjoy playing of using snow. It is very cold, for all that they must be fun.

Moreover, foods are really delicious! Warm foods taste very good when it is cold. Soup containing rice cakes is a typical example. If you have not eaten once, you really eat.

My Favorite Season

I like summer very much because we can enjoy many kinds of vegetables. Mygrandfather engages in agriculture and works in the field on the farm. The farm is in front of my house, so he always gives me a lot of vegetables in summer. For example, cucumbers, green peppers, eggplants, green soybeans, pumpkins and tomatos. In particular, I LOVE my grandfather's tomatos very much. His tomatos are different from other tomatos in freshness. I think his tomatos are juicier than other tomatos. At once, I asked to him,"Why your tomato is good taste and juicy?". Then he always answered, "This is because I have never used agricultural chemicals". I respect his belief and I feel I always have to thank to my grandfather when I eat his tomatos. This is my summer's pleasure and the reason why I like summer very much.

My favorite season is spring. The reason is very simple. My birthday is April second. So, I like spring. And, spring is very beautiful season. Many flowers bloom in this season. I like to see flowers while I am walking. Cherry blossoms are very nice in Hirosaki. I was impressed to see them at Hirosaki cherry blossoms festival for the first time this year. I felt like going to see them many times while the festival was being held. Of course, I am going to see them next year, too.

My hobby

     My hobbies are reading books and go to Karaoke. Reading books takes me much knowledge and opinions.  There are many kinds of genre in books I read, but my favorite genre is a story, because when I finish a whole story, I know much sense of values in the characters. They always take me refreshing surprises, so I like it.

     I like music very much, and I like to go to Karaoke with my friends too. So I search enjoyable songs, such as funny lyrics, and listen them. And when I go there with friends, I sing them. It is very fan to make them laugh!

It is my favorite song! Its lyrics and video are very funny.

My hobby is playing mahjong. But I haven't been to "Mahjong-saloon". The places I often play mahjong are game arcade, Internet, and sometimes I play mahjong with my friends.

My hobbies is reading books and listening to music.Recently, I started knitting.Today,I will talk about knitting.


I knit a scarf now.The color is sky blue and white.This color is like sky and cloud.And I like this color.But I think it should be a warm hue.(For example,red,orange,and beige)For the presents,i finished knitting 44 layers yesterday.I knitted blue and whit alternately. I knits it with blue for a long time today.The layers will be 202! It is very hard for me to knit it.But I was enjoyable to knit it.


You may think knitting is difficult. It is current.I also feel that it is very difficult at first.And I feel hard. But when I became accustomed knitting, I happy to knit.I think everyone may be able to knit something if becoming accustomed.How if you also start taking the opportunity of this winter?

My hobbbies are various : playing sports, playing the piano, reading, writing stories, and so.
One of them is listening to music. There are classical music, pop music, rock music,  anime song, and more.

Listening to music enables me to diverse feelings : happy, fun, calmly, relax, etc. I often listen to music. When I study, listening to music gives me to good power of concentration. When I feel tired, they give relaxing effect. And they give an encouragement when I feel sad.
Also, I can raise my motivation listening to music. When I have low tension, I do that. After doing that, I can raise my tension and feel motivated. So I become a custom before I do something.

My Hobby

My hobby is Nabe-party. (In this case, "Nabe" does not means "pot" . "Nabe" is cooking various things in a pot. It is famous and traditional Japanese food.) I'd like to explain how to enjoy Nabe-party.

First, you decide the members and go shopping to buy ingredients with the members. It does not matter that you go shopping by yourself in advance. But if you go shopping with the members, you can think about ingredients, something to drink and desserts discussing with the members.

Second, you cook Nabe with the members. If you are not good at cooking, you only have to cut vegetables, mushrooms and so on. You would be able to do it in a short time.

Finally, you and the members eat Nabe. The taste is so good that the conversation becomes lively. You can talk about your worries, dream and love. Then you and the members can make strong their friendships.

Many university students enjoy talking with their friends drinking liquor. Although I do not like the way, I'd like to suggest the other way:Nabe-party that you can promote friendship.

my hobby

I don't have hobbies much. As I have said before many times, I like to watching a Korean drama and listening to music. My favorite singer is Aiko. Her songs are very cute. But I became to like 'every little thing' these days. I listen to their songs with You Tube every day. And since I entered Hirosaki university, I became to read books little by little. I read philosophy and education books. They were very difficult. So, when I read novels, I thought that they were easy to read and interesting! I like books written by Hiro Arikawa. Her love stories are very nice! Please read 'a country of rain tree' and 'an illustrated Guide to plants'.
