My name is Kojiro Inoue.I major in medical science.
 I`m from Yokohama,Kanagawa. Kanagawa is home to Yokohama,Hakone,Kamakura and Kawasaki. I think these cities offer fine travel accomodation,visit-worthy attraction andevents.
I come from a family of four. I have one brother.He is easygoing and has a positive attitude.
I like watching movies.My favorite movie is THE STING.I watched the movie for the first time when I was 12 years old.I was impressed with that movie very much.

I belong to the medical course of Hirosaki University.
I'm from Nagoya in Aichi. Summer in Hirosaki is cooler than that in Nagoya. So I was able to spend a comfortable summer vacation this year. But I heard winter in Hirosaki is very cold and have a lot of snow. I am really anxious about winter.
I belong to kyudo club. I began kyudo after entering the university. I think kyudo is the most intesting sport I have ever done. I practice kyudo almost every day to improve it.
My hobby is listning to music. I love Mr.Children. I have been a fan of them since I was in a junior high school. Theirs music enrich my life. I dream of going to a concert of Mr.Children !

     Hello! I'm Kei. Let me introduce my major.
     I'm in the department of education. My major is English. There are ten members in my major. I want to become an English teacher in an elementary school in Japan. why? I have two reasons.
     First, I like children and I like English. I'm a member of Kid's World which is a circle interacts with elementary school students. When I play with them, their smiles give me  a lot of energy. They are very cute<3 And I like  pronunciation of English. Japanese doesn't have accents and sounds flat, but English does it and sounds like music for me. So listening and speaking English is very fun!
     Second, There is a teacher who I hold a great esteem. Thanks to his support, I could find one of my strengths and felt more confident. And I thought I want to be a teacher who can encourage students like him.

     Hello everyone! I'm Kei Niioka. I'm sorry to late to introduce my self.
     My hometown is Aomori city. I graduated from English course of South Aomori high school. I'm still living in Aomori city. So I come to Hirosaki university by train and bicycle.
     My hobbies are playing the piano and classical guitar, crafting. I have practiced the piano since I was three or four years old. And I like making accessories with beads. It's very fun.

My major is homemaking course.
I like eating, so I was 55kilos when I was a fourth grader.
I am very good at cooking!
I used to make a breakfast for my family.
I make "Gyoza "very well! I belong to tennis club.
I made it with its member last week.It was very delicious!
After we ate it, we watched a horror movie. It was not very scary,but we were able to enjoy it!
Finally, we continued getting up until it is 6 o'clock in the morning.

Homemaking course contains five different areas.
Foodscience, clothing, housing, home economics and nursing.
I want to enter clothing laboratory because I like science experiments!
In fact, I wanted to enter foodscience laboratory until I hear that its professor will retire next year.

Clothing experiments about dying cloth, determining absorprion into water and so on.
I'm looking forward to entering it very much!

Home economics  is about thinking about people's future related to money and  sharing house works with partner.

My name is Ryo Murakami. I am 19 years old. I am from Iwate. I graduated from Morioka Daishi high school. Last year, I studied in a cram school in Sendai. I major in mathematics. I live in nearby school. It is only 5 minutes to go to school. So I don’t worry about getting up late. When I was in high school, it took an hour to go to school.　It was so hard. I have a younger brother. He is taller than me. He can play basketball very well. I cannot play any sports well. So I want to be able to play any sports well like him. My hobby is listening music and reading manga. My favorite comic is Detective Conan. I think Conan Edogawa is a perfect detective. I belong to English talking circle because I want to get a chance to speak English and become friends with foreign peopre. I want to go abroad and communicate with people in English.

 I am in faculty of education. I major in English. I go to school from my house everyday, so I always go there by train. It is very hard for me because I have to get up early in the morning.

About my major

I tell you about my major
My major is engineering. Engineering is a department which uses science ( math, physics, chemistry, and so on ) to make human`s life better. So, engineers have to study science hard. Engineers may make bad machines ( like  atomic bomb ). So, they also have to learn about ethics. In recent years, they are making machines of wide field. For example, medical machines, nursing machines, cleaning robots, home electronics, robot which have an emotion, and so on. They also make rocket, and satellite. It`s very dreamful. I think this major is not only fun but also useful for humanity.Particularly, this major`s feature is that it can`t exist without human. That`s reason why I like it.

Our Great Class "English ⅢB"! by Michiko

In April I was looking for a class that I could learn how to write down academic English essay, for my graduation thesis and TOEFL test. Fortunately Prof. Philips told me about this class and I could take a writing class finally! Before I went to study abroad, I took an Advanced English ⅢB that Prof. Philips taught, but at that time I couldn’t understand what he said and even the contents. I was just sitting in the class and pretended as if I understood. However, after coming back I could listen to English, understand about the contents of the class and use the knowledge of writing English essay. When I was in NZ I took a writing class as well, but the class was too many students to ask questions in class, so I always went to my teacher after class and asked some questions that I had. The goodness of this English advanced ⅢB class in Hirosaki uni was very small class and it was relatively easy to ask questions rapidly. We leant not only academic skills of writing but some interesting topics such as about linguistics, international problems, and movies. I strongly recommend that students in Hirosaki uni take this English class for their English improving! Thanks to this class, I learnt the difficulties and the importance of English writing. When I was a elementary student, I was impressed Mather Theresa. I met a book written by her at library. I couldn not understand well, but I thought just "I want to become a like her!!!"

I love her. She makes peace for poor people and gives love them.

Wonderful Class ⅢB

I'd like to introduce about my advanced English class ⅢB! This class is quite small class because the student is only three, but the class contents is really deep about writing!!

Actually, I'm not good at writing and I had never studied about formally essay writing. However Prof. John Philips taught us this in order really thoroughly, so I learned to write essay formally a little.

In addition, I could learn the writing style in essay is quite different between Japanese and English. I thought the difference in the composition of the sentences is involved in  writing style difference through this class.

Also Prof. philips told us a lot of interesting talk about movie or African culture or interesting news paper and so on. So I had interested in old American movie, I want to watch these when I have a time!lol

I enjoyed my class! Thank you Prof. philips and my classmates!!
