My Hometown

Today, I'm going to talk about my hometown. I'm from Odate, the north of Akita Prefecture. So comparatively it is near to Hirosaki. It takes only about an hour from my home to here by car.


In fact, the original name of my hometown is Tashiro. It was a small town and merged in Odate City several years ago. But the name, Tashiro remains in our typical mountain, Tashiro-Dake. There are a lot of beautiful nature. The spring water is very good.

To tell about Akita Prefecture, kiritanpo is our famous local food. I think what my grandmother makes is the best! I recommend you to try it if you visit Akita Prefecture.

My Hometown

Now,I'll tell you my hometown!

My hometown is Hirosaki City,Aomori.Here is famous for apples,you know.I love apples!How delicious they are!(^^)In winter I eat them almost every day.

Also there are traditional festivals,for example,"Sakura Mathuri",that you can see a lot of cherry blossoms in Hirosaki Castle, "Neputa Mathuri"that you can watch the beautiful paintings and feel people who join in the festival active,"Yomiya"that in evening,with friend(or your boyfriend/girlfriend!)you can wear yukata and eat food at yatai,the small shop,and so on!!

However there are few shops which sell clothes...

I don't know my hometown very much,I think.So I'll know everything about Hirosaki!Let's study with me!(^0^)/

Tsugaru City

Hello, it's Koko.
I'm going to introduce my hometown.
I was born in Hirosaki and grew up in Tsugaru city.
Tsugaru city is famous for its production of watermelon and melon,
and the remains of Kamegaoka.
Most of the city is paddy field. There is delicious rice in autumn.
And there are many convenience stores. I don't know the reason,
but it is useful.
Tsugaru city has two festivals in summer.
One is Nebuta matsuri and Umaichi matsuri.
Nebuta matsuri is so so.Umaichi matsuri is the festival for horses!

I love my honetown Tsugaru!!!!

Kazo city

Hello, everyone! I'm Mizuki.

I was born in Kazo city in Saitama prefecture. Kazo is northeast in Saitama, and from Kazo it takes about one and a half hours to go to Sinjuku or Sibuya in Tokyo by train.

Kazo is famouse for carp streamers, which are called Koinobori. On May 5th, Jambo Koinobori, which is about 100 meters long, is put up on Tone river. It's very very big and strong! Many people from all over Japan visit Kazo to see it every year.

I hope many more people will visit Kazo and enjoy seeing the traditional culture of Kazo, especially this Jambo Koinobori :)

HOMETOWN

I'm from Aomori city.
Aomori city is located in the place where it takes an hour from Hirosaki by train.
It is comfortable to spend the place where I live very much though no city because there are a lot of shops in surroudings.

During GW,"RAB trick art exhibition" was opened in JUSCO in Aomori.
There were a lot of paintings that be mysterious,beautiful and unique!

And there is a restaurant where omelette with rice was made a specialty,which is my favorite(*^^*)

My hometown♪

Good evening,everyone!
Kiyose City is my hometown.Kiyose City lies the northern part of Tokyo,and it borders Saitama Prefecture on the north.I can go to Saitama Prefecture only in a minute.In Kiyoce City,taking out garbage is not a free service,and some people go to Saitama Prefecture to do it.Ha-ha-ha.
There are a lot of hospitals in Kiyose City,so I can see a hospital here and there.If I feel ill,I can go to see a doctor in a minute.Furthermore,there are many forests there,so elderly persons live very comfortably,I think.
Akina Nakamori,Yumiko Syaku and Maki Horikita are from Kiyose City. This is by the way.
I love Kiyose City very much!

My hometown

Hello, you all!

Today, I want to talk about my lovely hometown. My hometown is Kiryu-city,Gunma prefecture. Gunma is in the Kanto Plain and Kiryu is located in the west of Gunma.

Kiryu and Gunma has a lot of intersting cultures, something like textiles, silk fabrics, and baseball. Especially, Jomo-Karuta is very famous.
Do you know Karta,by the way? Karta is one of the card games. This Karuta is very familiar to us and children there. All of them are memorizing lines of Karuta perfectly. That's why they can choose a correct card immediately when a person is reading a line of the card.
I heard this Jomo-Karuta was made in order to help children understand their hometown's culture and history. In fact, lines of the cards are written about many famous figures, geography and scenery.

If you have friends who are from Gunma, you can ask about it and I'm sure that they can say the lines as if they utterd an incantation. :)

My Hometown

Hi,folks.It's Tetsushi Oyama.
I was born in Yuzawa city in Akita,and then moved to Sendai,San Diego CA,Sendai again,and Hirosaki.So, I actually have several hometowns.

Today,I'd like to tell you about Sendai,where I spent longest in my life.
Sendai is generally called "Mori no Miyako".It means the city is covered with green.In fact,Parks in Sendai are beautiful and the street has lots of trees.It's really a nice place to live.

Sendai has other nice things like sports.Pro sports are very popular there.Soccer,baseball,basketball and so on.
I'm planning to go to stadiums and watch soccer and baseball in my summer vacation.

I think I couldn't tell you enough, but I'm glad if you read my writing and feel like visiting Sendai.

Tendo - My hometown

Hello. I'm from Tendo city, Yamagata. About 64 thousands people are living in Tendo.Tendo is located at just north of Yamagata city. Because over 95 percent of shogi komas are produced in Tendo, objects look like shogi koma can be seen very often in Tendo. For example, there is a big shogi koma on almost every postbox and questions of shogi on electric light poles and sidewalks. Festivals about shogi is also holded in Tendo. One of them is "Ningen shogi", where professional shogi players play shogi using people as shogi komas. Because I have played shogi since I was a 4th grade student, I was invited to the festival last year. There are many things and facilities about shogi in Tendo (for example, shogi school, shogi museum, very big shogi komas for interior). If you like shogi, you should visit Tendo once.

My sweet hometown

Hi,guys! It's Fumiko Abe.
Today,I want tell you about my hometown.
I was born and have lived in Shiwa-town, south to Morioka-city.
Shiwa is small town so the population is also small.
There are many rice fields, farms and orchards.
Especially,producing of glutinous rice is the best in Japan!!
My home is surrounded by rice fields,so views from the windows are very beatiful throughout the year(>ｖ<)☆☆
I love my hometown very much!!
I'm looking forward to going back to there in the summer vacation.

FOOD

I am living in the school dormitory named Hokumei Ryo. Let me introduce meals of our dormitory. We can have breakfast and dinner everyday except Sundays and holidays at the dorm. The food are really balanced and full of nutrition. So we don't need to worry about what we should eat every time. The picture following is the dinner on Wednesday last week.It was pretty delicious. Since most of the dishes are Japanese or Chinese foods, they are very healthy as well. I'm very happy to have such delicious and healthy food everyday.

I intend to write it about my hometown today.

I was born in Hirosaki-shi.

I move in Aomori-shi, and the parents still lives in Aomori-shi afterwards. There is Shinaomori station near my house.

The Shinkansen is going to come in December.

The name of the Shinkansen is "Hayabusa".

In fact, In public participation for a name of the Shinkansen, but "Hayabusa" was the fourth of the whole. The first was "Hatukari", and the second seems to have been "Hatsune". Why it is "Hatsune", the reason is because a color of the Shinkansen looked just like the color of the character called "Hatsune Miku".

Try use the Shinkansen when you return to your family home in winter .

KAWASHIMA!

Hi! I'm Mamoru. I love curry and rice. especially, I love the curry and rice which is made by my mother. but after I came to Hirosaki. I met delicious curry and rice. It is as delicious as my mother's one. KAWASHIMA,which is curry restaurant and is in Dotemachi, offers the curry and rice. I have't eaten such a delicious ones. there are two peaces of pork on it. we can cut them only by pushing with a spoon. In short,they are really tender. I love the curry. I need the curry. when I eat a ordinary curry in the students' dining hall, I miss the curry!

Tofu

I love tofu.Tofu is very delicious and healthy.Tofu has some variations to cook.
The most favorite form of tofu is hiyayakko.Hiyayakko is the simplest form of tofu dishes but very delicious.If you haven't eaten hiyayakko, I recommend you to eat it.

Ｍｙ Ｆａｖｏｒｉｔｅ Ｆｏｏｄ

Hello,I'm Shinya Suto.I like many food. For example,curry and rice and sushi,orange.But,my favorite food is omu-rice(an omlet containing fried rice)

This food has a lot of variations.Demi-glace sauce ,butter rice,etc...... Among these , I like ketchup sauce very much.I eat this food about three times a month.Sometimes,I cook it myself.I can't still cook like my mother,but I want to cook more delicious omu-rice.

Favorite!

I like fermented soybeans called as Natto in Japan.
It is said that people living in the west part of Japan hate it's smell:<
However the taste has nothing to do with the smell
Natto is very delicious!
And, it is very healthy^^
I often eat them in breakfast.
I can't eat mustard.So I don't mix it with Natto...

I like tofu very much.

Because tofu is very healthy and delicious.

I like tofu so much that I eat it every day.

It is good to eat as it is , and it is also delicious to eat it cooked.

It is delicious with salt.

Hello, everyone. I'm Kazuki Sato. Today, I'm going to talk about my favorite food.

I love eating. So, I like many kinds of food. Especially, I like aubergine. This picture is one of the form of cooked aubergine, "YAKI NASU".

However, I disliked aubergine when I was a pupil. I hated it because feeling during eating it annoyed me. One day, cooked aubergine "YAKINASU" is provided for school lunch. I tried to eat it because my teacher told me to eat it. I was expressed by a wonderful taste of it.I became to like it. I have liked it since that time.

Hi, I'm Yuta Oba.

This week, I should write about food, but I'd like to do about my favorite drink.

For my health, I want to eat some vegetables every day. However, it is hard for me to eat a healthful diet every day.

So I often drink vegetable juice as a substitute for green vegetables.

This is a picture of my favorite vegetable juice. I don't like 100%vegetable juice. This vegetable juice contains fruit juice. It is peach and yogurt flavor and very tasty.

However, the proportion of vegetable juice is only 30%, and the remaining 70% is fruit juice! So I have to drink a lot in order to maintain my health.

I like many kinds of food. Strawberry is one of them.

The strawberry is a sweet, sour fruit as known to you. They contain a lot of vitamins.
In the dish that uses the strawberry, I like shortcake.
I want to be able to eat them all the year round though the strawberry is a fruit of spring.

These are strawberries that the acquaintance gave my family.
We were surprised because they were big. And, they were very delicious^^
