My major

My major is the humanities. I'm interested in Asian culture. For example, history, language, literature and so on. What I want to study most is dialectology. I speak in Tsugaru dialect. But many young people in Aomori feel shame at using Tsugaru dialect. On the contrary, people who speak in Kansai dialect don't feel shame. I want to research what makes the difference of the two.
