But I have any scenes that I cannot understand.First,the woman negotiating with both sides of lawyers and defendants appeared in ths movie,who is she??And what is her purpose?Because of her,I'm very confused...

She's trying to influence the jury and to make money doing it. Jury tampering is a very serious crime, so she has to be careful not to be caught. Hence the secrecy.
