Last Thursday, we watched Sympsons. I watched it for the first time.
It was interesting, but I was't able to understand the details of the story.
The characters speak English very fast for me.

I want to be able to laugh at the jokes in the movie.

Two questions about The Simpsons

I have two questions about The Simpsons. First, in the story which the son fell down a well, singers were singing. Were the singers modeled on WE ARE THE WORLD? The song was different but they looked like the singers of the song WE ARE THE WORLD. Second, in the same story which the son fell down a well, what was the ending? The son was scared but he wasn’t scolded. Is that a happy ending?

I watched Pokemon movie last week. I could not figure out what the character said.
When I was an elementary school student, I watched Pokemon every week. but I can't remember the story. I want to play Pokemon TV game again.

Last week, I watched Pokemon movie in the class.
Actually, I couldn't figure out what the characters said.
However, each character was so active.
Pikachu was very cute!
Though I haven't played games of Pokemon, I think Pokemon is attractive.
It's incredible that Pokemon keeps its populality over more than ten years.
Now Pokemon is loved all over the world and I guess it will continue for a long time.

Memories of Pokemon

Last Thursday,I could’t attend class.So,I can’t explain about video of pokemon.I will explain about memories of pokemon instead.Pokemon was very popular when I was junior high school student.Almost all of male students played pokemon game.Pokemon game has three types;red,green and blue.This difference is enemies which appear on the game.Main character advances to defeat boss of enemis.On the way to boss,enemies that are defeated by main character become partner of main character.Main character brings up them and fight together.This was the key to Pokemon's popularity.Pkemon reminds me of my good old days.

Billiards

I played billiards with my best friend last week at Asahi Bowl. Since we drank a lot

of alcoholic drink, we couldn't give full play to my ability. But billiard is very exciting!

Next week I'll play billiards with my friends.

Well, pokemon-movie reminded me of my childhood. In those days, I was absorbed

in pokemon-game. I want to play the game again.

The video of Pokemon reminded me of my elementary school days. In those days I was crazy about Pokemon like many children at that time were.
I managed to understand the content of the video, because I know what will happen next.
But I could hardly realize what the characters actually said.

As Ryuhi mentioned, there are both common things and diferent things between Japanese Pokemon and American one. It was fun to see what are different and what are common.

I watched pokemon in English class last Thursday, but I couldn't understand the story well. I was surprised because the speed of English was very fast!!
When I was about 10 years old, pokemon was very popular. Even now, pokemon is very popular. I'm looking forward to watching pokemon again.

I think Pokemon is popular when I was a pupill. I wasn't interested in it then. But my little sister played that game and I saw it. She said the game was very interesting. Propably there is many Pokemon, but I can remember a little. I watched the animation first last Turseday.

Last week,I caught a cold, so I could not attend the lecture.

Last week

I went my father's parents' home last week.　I met many relatives I haven't seen.
Because we assembled for my grandmother's funeral, we were very busy. many people saw sad.
I am unaccustomed to assembly of relative, so I was very tired and had a cold.

Today, I attended a lecture of a private teacher.
I want to have a part time job.

I belong to an orchestra club, and I play the viola.
Last sunday, we had a concert in Gosyogawara. The concert was for children. We played classic music like "Pomp and Circumstance", "Hungarian dances" and pops music like "The theme of E.T." or "Totoro." It was good experience for me. I was able to find many problems in playing viola. I will practice it more and want to play it well.

A regular badminton game

My club had a regular badminton game with Akita University and Yamagata University. And we went to Akita. Akita is between Yamagata and Aomori so Akita University is host. I was able to know many people and made new friends. We played badminton in the daytime and of couse drunk in the night though we played badminton next day. We talked with them drinking.

Playing tennis!!

Last Saturday, I went to Iwaki to play tennis. At first, the weather was not so good, but gradually the weather became good. It was very hot weather.
Next Sunday, we will play tennis against Akita university and Iwate university. I'm a little nervous, but I want to enjoy playing tennis.

These days I'm very busy everyday,

HOKUITAI FINISHED

I belong to kendo club.Last Sunday,I took part in kendo match held in Spporo.I took part in sinjinsen;freshan,second year student and third year student have qualification to play. Team competition of kendo is one team by 5 people.We finished second.I am not satisfied with this result.Next big game "TOUITAI" will be held in August.I want to continue efforts.

Anniversal Competition of University's Founding

Last Saturday, I had my first competition of golf at Tsugaru country club.
It was anniversal competition of university's founding.

I didn't compete against other golf clubs , but just among our Hirosaki University golf club.
Because it was my first competition, I was so nervous. But my senior who played in same party encouraged me, so I could play relaxing.

My goal was the first place among rookies and I did it!
I got the cup and drunk with it. It was so great experience!

I'll keep practicing golf.
My next goal is to take part in Hokuitai next year.

First match of karate

This Sunday, I played karate match for the first time. I played two match. Fortunately, I won the first match, but I lost second. I played twice running, and I don't have strength, so I was completely tired. But I enjoyed match!

I have a bad cold from Friday. My temperature went up to 39.3 degrees centigrade at night. I was very surprised because I had been very fine on the morning of Friday. I went to the Kensei Hospital last Friday. But I didn't catch a cold. I went there to learned how ER is. Patients which came there are troubled by many kinds of a pain. The docter has to see them regardless of his speciality. It is very hard!! But I think it is challenging as a docter!

I bloged the Tohoku league match of table tennis was going to be held on this weekend a few days ago.
I took part in it yesterday and I played two matches. My record was one win and one defeat. I didn't think I could win because I am a poor player. I am very happy! To tell the truth, I didn't like table tennis very much because my skill didn't improve. But I get to like it through this match. It was also very meaningful experience that I could watch many good matches. I must practice it harder and I hope to contribute to our victory!

What did you do last weekend? I went to Fukushima Prefecture to take part in a tennis match. Fukushima Prefecture is a long way from Hirosaki.

During the two days, I played six matchs of tennis. I won four times and lost two times. The matchs which I won were very exciting!! The matchs which I lost were also very exciting and I had good experiences during the two days.

I am living in a boading house now,

I belong the table tennis club. I am a beginner so I practice table tennis everyday.
Yesterday, the regular match of spring against Akita university was held in Hirosaki. I played the match of table tennis for the first time. I got so nervous, and I was totally defeated.... But it was a meaningful experience.

The end of this month, we have the Tohoku league match. It is a big match.
I'll practice table tennis harder and do my best!

Hi, everyone! I'm sorry to be late for this blog.

In my GW, I didn't go back my hometown....,
because my home is in Kanazawa.
It is too long distance to get back whthin short period.
So, I have stayed here and helped restaulant in Hirosaki park.
During cherry festival,
people working there are always very very busy for service.
So, my boading house members usually help them.
Working there was very hard, but It was good experience!!
I had a difficulty,when foreign guests came.
I could have conversation like "Do you have order?" or "Here is charge."
But I could't do quick reaction to "How much ?"
Though I know English figure like, hundred or thousand.....

I can`t go back home, because I had club activities everyday except 5th. So I was in Hirosaki for GW.
Most of my friends went back, so I can not meet them and I missed them.But I enjoyed my holidays.

On 6th I went to Hirosakizyo with my seniors.We watched charry blossoms. I was worried about them because it rained on 5 th.But they were in full bloom.They are very beautiful.We took pictures with our mobile phones. The cherry blossoms made us happy.
But when we went to night stands,we wasn`t able to watch them.We watched only foods.
We ate karaagekun,black konjak,potato with butter and banana choco!They were very delicious!!

Now,I'm in Tome. (Tome is a city in miyagi and it is my hometown.)
When I came here, I used the shinkansen.I got off at Kurikomakogen...Actually, I had to get off there. However, I fell asleep..and when I woke up, the shinkansen had just left from Kurikoma for next station, Hurukawa!!
Fortunately, at Hurukawa station,I was able to change for Morioka and come back home.

I was glad to participate this class. The first half of this class,we had a presentation. My group members,Masashi,Mika,Yukiko,Mitsuki,Miyuki,we've worked hard,haven't we? I think so. Thank you all of yours! I've enjoyed with you. And other group's presentation were also very good, I think. Reading and discussing about newspaper , and Using money and practicing order were also helpful for me. Concerning watching movie and listening CD, they were hard to do understand for me. But, All of things in this class were, at least, developped my English skill, and friendship. Thanks everyone & Professor Phillips.

spring vacation☆

It was good for me to hear nativespeaker's speaking in this class. I think my listening ability grew. So I 'm very grateful to professor Philips♪ And I'm also grateful to all of my classmates. Thanks to all of you,I could enjoy class!
Now, we have about two months as spiring vacation. I'm going to read English novel and watch English movies which doesn't have subtitle on DVD. I bought new computer for it!
How are you going to study English in this vacation?

My regret.

I felt regret for a little speaking.
I couldn't speak English very much, because I was afraid of my mistake of using English.
I studied how to break a silent atmosphere in English Communication Level 2.
But I couldn't make use of it in this class.

I had to be positive, and I should used any words (easier words are O.K.!!) for tell you my opinion.
The level up of language speaking is PRACTICE again and again!!!

I will visit to USA, and do homestay in this spring vacation.
I want to study speaking English, so I must talk with host family.
If it's difficult for them to understand my speak, I will try using another words.
I think the more speak, the more progress.

I will grow from the regret.

Last Communication

I was in a trouble.
I couldn't contribute the blog.I don't know what's wrong.but,Mr Phillips gave me invitation mail again.so,I can write down the blog now.thank you Mr.

and,yesterday,I had a takoyaki party with my friends.I ate handmade takoyaki for the first time!It's very tasty^^after that,We went to the bar.and,there were many many people.
but,I excited the noise.
then,the foreigners came to us,and had a talking and drinking together.
I have no oppotunity to talk with native expect communication class now.so,I enjoyed that talk.
they praised me for my pronunciation.so,I was so happy(*^^*)

I thought that things by grace of communication class.
I was probably to be shy when I spoke in English.but I like to talk in English.
I wanted to talk with MORE people.I regreted this thing.
but I'm happy to communicate with group member and Mr Phillips.

Good evening! How are you?
I'm fine of course , but feel loneliness a bit.
You know, our last class finished yesterday, and we can't meet so long. For some friends, it is hard to meet again...
I thought each friends in this class were so great. I felt a sense of belonging in this class.
In the next semester, we'll move up to the new grade, and walk each own way. But all of us are "English mate" , I think.

Hello:)) What's up??
Yesterday was very enjoyable class!! I think most of you could enjoy speaking English then. In my group(Kenichi, mika, yoshie) talked about part time job, dream,hobby etc.
Although I tried talking about Computer, other member didn't like that. So I gave up.
Anyway,Since Everyone spoke English so fluently, our group were always exciting.

I will become junior soon. And my seminor starts.
My major is English and Computer. Maybe yours are concerned with English too.
As long as we are atudying same thing, we are good friends and rival.

I'm not sure that I continue this class or not. Because I'm taking 2types teacher's licence(English and commerce). Whether I could take or not depends on the timetable in the next term.

I hope we can practice together again!!
