Hello!
Today,I want to introduce happy news for me.
My hometown is famous for soccer team.
It is Kashima Antlers. My hometown supports the Antlers with all our face.
The other day, Kashima Antlers turned out hiro who could save Japanese soccer team.
His name is Atsuto Uchida. He is the hope of Our team.
So, I quoted below article.

It wasn't pretty, but that's exactly what Takeshi Okada wanted from his players.
Japan will advance to the final round of 2010 World Cup qualifying as the Group 2 winner after Okada's side beat the clock to beat under-strength Bahrain 1-0 on Sunday.
Before a Saitama Stadium crowd of 51,180, Japan exacted revenge for its defeat at Manama in March with a very fortunate goal by Atsuto Uchida--the Kashima Antler's first for the national team--in the final minute.
Substitute Seiichiro Maki distracted Sayed Mohamed Jaafar as Uchida's header bounced high over the Bahrain keeper for the lone goal of the match.
"This was an important game for us, and it's not just because we lost they last time met," Okada said. "I don't think we played badly at all in the first half but we couldn't capitalize. Finishing is something we need to work on, and our goal wasn't beautiful by any stretch of the imagination.
"But personally, it made me happy to see our players, who have a reputation of being stylish and elegant, to play such scrappy football."
Japan finished the third-round qualifiers with 13 points from six games, two points ahead of runnerup Bahrain. The draw for the Asian final qualifiers starting in September will be held on Friday.
Okada made the decision to play Shunsuke Nakamura from the start despite the risk of him reinjuring his right ankle.
Nakamura hurt the ankle in the 1-1 draw with Oman at Muscat on June 7, and the injury was bad enough that it nearly kept him out of last weekend's Thailand game that sent Japan through to the final round.
A day earlier after training, Nakamura said his ankle had improved in the past week, but playing him against the hard-tackling Bahrainis carried the risk of aggravating the injury--but it was, evidently, one Okada was willing to burden.
True to his word, Nakamura did seem to be lighter on his feet on this night than he did in Bangkok, and in the fifth minute, the left-footed one came across a great opportunity to hand his team the lead.
Referee Ravshan Irmatov awarded Japan a penalty that should never have been awarded, as defender Sayed Mohamed Adnan stopped Hisato Sato with a perfectly clean tackle.
But that didn't stop the official from pointing to the spot, and Nakamura stepped up to try to convert.
A 1-0 Japanese lead seemed all but written in on the scoresheet with Nakamura, who very rarely misses from the spot, taking the penalty. But Jaafar read Nakamura like a book, diving to his left to make a superb save of what was a well-struck penalty.
Japan dominated the rest of the first half, creating several chances before halftime. Yasuhito Endo's free kick during injury time came off the bar, and Keisuke Honda had the rebound all to himself from point-blank range facing an open net.
But the thought of scoring in his national-team debut appeared to have crossed Honda's mind as the Netherlands-based midfielder somehow managed to miss the target.
Milan Macala's visitors made a game out of it in the second half, putting Japanese custodian Seigo Narazaki to the test. The hosts went close a number of times before Keiji Tamada's throw-in led to Uchida's goal.
JAPAN: Narazaki, Uchida, Nakazawa, Tulio, Yasuda, S. Nakamura, K. Nakamura, Honda, Tamada, Sato
BAHRAIN: Jaafar, Husain, Ayyad, Isa, Adnan, Alanezi, Alwadaei, A'faish, Abdulrahman, Omar, Ismaeel

Hello. I introduced EURO2008 to you before. Now I think you wonder what is going on.
link:http://news.google.com/news?ned=ca

MADRID (AFP) — Thousands of supporters of the Spanish national team have vowed
to shave their heads if their side wins the Euro 2008 football championship.
Spanish sports daily Marca has been urging fans to sign an online petition
promising to go bald if Spain wins the title and as of Tuesday night just over
10,000 people have made the pledge, the newspaper said on its website.
"I,
an unrepentant lifelong fan, solemnly commit myself before Marca, the fans and
the national team, to shave every last hair on my Spanish head if our team wins
Euro 2008," the online pledge reads.
"The team needs all the support it can
get from its fans," the newspaper wrote on its website over a photo of a group
of bald fans wearing red and yellow Spain jerseys with their arms in the air.
"If you are among those who beleive Spain is going to win, shave yourself
with us," it added.
Participants have the chance of winning one of 20
cameras which will be awarded to those who make the pledge.
Spain is now two
wins from adding to its 1964 European Championship success, its sole
international title, after its 4-2 penalty shootout win over world champions
Italy on Sunday.
The Spanish side will face Russia in the Austrian capital
Vienna on Thursday for a place in the June 29 final.

Spain, Germany, Turkey and Russia survive. I am looking forward to watching the rest games.

Hello, I tell you about the most interesting news. The news is the impact of industrial action by Qantas engineers in Western Australia.

Qantas engineers in three cities walked off the job yesterday over a
pay
dispute. A total of 35 flights were cancelled yesterday, including one in Perth,
and a further 29 have been cancelled today because of the flow on effect of the
strikes.
Qantas says one flight to Perth from Sydney has been cancelled as a
direct result ofyesterday's action. The Australian Licensed Engineers Association
has told Qantas that workers in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth will
strike again for four hours on Friday.

In this summer, I travel to Thiland. So I think I do not want to happen to the inpact of industrial action.

Hello!

It have been said that Japanese people work too hard. This article intoroduce the relation between suicide and overwork. I think Japanese society is needed to be reexamined.

With the number of suicides in the country increasing, observers are pointing
out that suicides due to stress from overwork also have grown.
The number of people who committed suicide increased by 938 to 33,093 from 2006 to 2007, the second-highest number ever recorded, according to a report released by the National Police Agency on Thursday. The report said the number of suicides
committed by people in their 30s and 60s reached record highs, while the number
of suicides by people in their 40s also increased.

Hello.
The news I'm the most interested in is about removing North Korea from the list of state sponsors of terrorism. Why has the U.S decided to do that?I think there is no reason we remove the country from the list.If the president of the U.S would only like to leave his "footsteps" on history and urge that he has performed his duty as the president, the decision will make the world sitiation worse.
I quoted a part of the article as follow.

Washington has notified Tokyo of its plan to start the process Thursday of striking North Korea from its list of state sponsors of terrorism if Pyongyang files a declaration of its nuclear activities, Foreign Minister Masahiko Komura said Tuesday.
The planned U.S. move may push the Cabinet of Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda into a tight corner, possibly forcing the government to face the tough political choice of either dropping its hardline demand for Pyongyang to make progress on the abduction dispute or straining the U.S. alliance by hampering the six-party talks to denuclearize North Korea.
Fukuda said later Tuesday that Japan would welcome the delisting if it helps resolve the North Korean nuclear issue.
"If the nuclear problem will be resolved, isn't that something desirable, also for our country? . . . It's something we should welcome," Fukuda told reporters when asked whether he would urge President George W. Bush not to remove North Korea from the list.
Officials in Tokyo meanwhile stressed there would still be a moratorium of 45 days, and the U.S. decision could be rescinded during that period if the North's declaration is not sufficient to ensure complete denuclearization as agreed to in the six-party talks.

Before long, the issue that has not been solved may be settled. This issue is whaling.

For decades, there is distance between pro and anti whaling nations. However, these countries got a chance to be close each other this time. I'd like to keep paying attention to this issue from now on.

This news is quoted from the following site:
http://www.smh.com.au/news/whale-watch/break-from-the-past-in-whaling-dispute/2008/06/25/1214073287563.html

Environment Minister Peter Garrett has described a decision to try to bridge the global divide over whaling taken in Santiago today as a break with the past.
Australia is one of 24 nations to agree to work behind closed doors over the next year on a resolution to the deadlock between pro and anti-whaling nations.
Mr Garrett told the International Whaling Commission that the organisation had to move away from its 1950's function as a regulator of whaling, in favour of conservation.

On the lengthy agenda for the future of the IWC, made public for the first time today, are some of the most bitterly disputed issues facing the organisation, including the global moratorium on commercial whaling.
A possible future bargain between anti-whaling nations and Japan is also flagged, with the inclusion on the list of coastal whaling in a country's own waters.
Some observers believe that this might eventually be exchanged by Tokyo for its right to go scientific whaling in the Antarctic.
The agreement, reached behind closed doors, changes the IWC's rules of procedure to demand greater attempts to reach consensus, rather than go to the votes that so sharply divide the organisation now.

These days, there are many tragic news. So I introduce positive news!

Music therapy for psychiatric in-patients with schizophrenia can improve some of the symptoms of the disorder, according to a new study by researchers at Imperial College London and therapists at the Central and North West London Mental Health Trust.

The preliminary research, published today in the British Journal of Psychiatry, is the first time music therapy for people with acute schizophrenia has been evaluated.

For this small study, 81 in-patients at four hospitals in central and inner London were randomised to receive music therapy or standard care alone. Those people receiving music therapy had between 8 and 12 sessions, once a week, for up to 45 minutes

During the sessions patients were given access to a range of musical instruments and encouraged to use them to express themselves. Initially the therapist listened carefully to the patient's music and accompanied them closely, seeking to follow their emotional state in musical terms. The therapist then offered opportunities to extend or vary the nature of the musical interaction.

The researchers measured symptoms of schizophrenia and found that improvements were greater among those people receiving music therapy than among those receiving standard care alone. Referral for music therapy was associated with reductions in general symptoms, such as depression and anxiety, and the negative symptoms of schizophrenia, such as emotional withdrawal. However, the authors caution that because this was a small study, it is possible that other factors, such as severity of illness, may have influenced the study's findings.

Now I practice playing the violin. In my future, my deveropping skills will help those patients get better! This news is here:http://medieigo.com/weeklytopic.php?id=1

Now I worry about my electricity charges. I must pay... Then, I introduce the news. http://search.japantimes.co.jp/cgi-bin/nn20080613f1.html

Takeshi Hishida, representative director of Taiyo Hatsuden of Yokohama, said there has been a sharp increase in requests for information since the start of this year.
His company offers manufacturers' cost estimates to people interested in installing solar power generation equipment at their homes.
"Many of those coming to us for advice say sunlight is clean and they want to contribute to the global environment," the 46-year-old Hishida said.
Company employee Kenichi Kawauchi of Sagamihara, Kanagawa Prefecture, set up equipment capable of producing 3.18 kw of power in his home last November.
The 45-year-old spent ¥3 million on the project.
"Power output increases with the number of hours of sunshine," Kawauchi said. "Our electricity bill decreased to ¥1,500 in March. Above all, my family's awareness of ecology has been enhanced by monitoring the volume of power output."
Hishida said the cost of installing solar power equipment with an output capacity of 3 kw is around ¥2 million, and some households have been able to recover the expense in about 15 years.

I will think about this in the future (when I have a house built)

Hello!!I tell you about ambulances today.Below is a quotation from Yomiuri Shinbun(http://www.yomiuri.co.jp/dy/national/20080624TDY02307.htm )

Ambulances 'treated like taxis'
The Yomiuri Shimbun
Many people request ambulances for nonemergency purposes, according to a Yomiuri Shimbun survey of fire departments in 51 major cities.
In many cases, people called ambulances because they thought they would have to wait less when they arrived at the hospital.
In 2007, about 50 percent of ambulance requests were made by people with minor injuries or mild symptoms.
In the survey, The Yomiuri Shimbun asked 51 fire departments in Tokyo, prefectural capitals and major cities what people who called 119 asked for.
According to the survey, 37 fire departments said some callers wanted to use ambulances for nonemergency purposes in a manner similar to a taxi. This was observed in various cities.
A fire department in the Koshinetsu region said a woman carrying a bag filled with items prepared for her hospital stay rode in an ambulance.
A Kansai fire department said many people called 119 and named a time and date for an ambulance pick up. Many fire departments said they often observed this behavior.
People even lie about their maladies, some fire departments said.
A Koshinetsu region man in his 60s told a 119 operator that he was too sick to move and requested an ambulance. However, when he was examined, he did not display symptoms that necessitated emergency treatment. It was later discovered that he had made a reservation at the hospital beforehand.
In the survey, 28 fire departments said some people with minor symptoms, such as a cold, called 119 because they thought they would be treated before other patients if they arrived by ambulance.
In many cases hospital nurses decide the severity of a patient's condition. If a nurse determines that a patient has minor symptoms--even if the patient arrived by ambulance--they are not necessarily treated immediately.
In one case in the Sanyo region, the family member of a patient with a minor cut demanded that the patient receive treatment before others because she arrived in an ambulance. The family member made the demand after being told to wait in line.
Seven fire departments said people waiting to be treated at hospital sometimes leave to call 119 because they think they will be treated faster.
A fire department in the Kanto region said it received a 119 call from a man in his 50s who claimed he had a stomachache.
After an ambulance drove him to the hospital, the fire department found out he had been waiting at the hospital earlier.
"I waited for one hour and I got irritated. I thought I would have to wait less if I arrived by ambulance," the man said.

It is very awful that ambulances can't go directly to the patients in critical condition.I've never taken ambulances. But whether one has taken ambulances or not, everyone must think how to use ambulances. They are not free taxes, of course. Our action may save someone, or endanger someone, I think.

I think some crimes set off a chain reaction in various parts of the Japan every year. These days, there is a good example. Two weeks ago, I wrote blog about the series of murders in Akihabara. And this week, I found an incident probably triggered by the crimes in Akihabara at http://search.japantimes.co.jp/cgi-bin/nn20080623a4.html

Monday, June 23, 2008
Three cut with knife in Osaka Station
OSAKA (Kyodo) Three women sustained minor injuries Sunday afternoon when they were cut in separate incidents on and near the same train platform at JR Osaka Station, police said.
A 52-year-old woman from Kashiba, Nara Prefecture, was cut by a knife on her left arm at 1:35 p.m., police said. About five minutes later a 20-year-old woman from Taisho Ward, Osaka, was cut on her left arm as she was about to board a train.
Earlier, a 20-year-old woman from Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture, was poked by a knife when she was on a landing between escalators heading up to the platform.
A surveillance camera showed a woman near both of the platform victims. She was described as stocky, about 160 cm tall and appeared to be in her 30s. She was wearing a one-piece dress, a black hat, a necklace and a white shoulder bag. Her hair was chestnut color. The woman from Nishinomiya saw the woman pass by her while the other two victims did not see their attacker.

A pervert who slashes people as he or she passes them on the street has attracted attention of the people in Japan because we may become the victims of incidents accidentally. I wish that this chain reaction will stop as soon as possible.

I had found and important news for all human being. At http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080620/ap_on_sc/phoenix_mars;_ylt=Ai_618jS5iTL.29.y3GVnvKs0NUE

LOS ANGELES - The apparent discovery of ice near Mars' north pole has scientists asking: Did the frozen water melt at some point in the planet's long history to create an environment friendly for life?
The Phoenix spacecraft exposed bright white crumbs at the bottom of a trench while digging near Mars' north pole earlier this week. The bits disappeared in new photos sent back on Thursday, convincing scientists that the magic act was evidence of ice that vaporized after being exposed to the sun.
"The fact that there's ice there doesn't tell you anything about whether it's habitable," chief scientist Peter Smith of the University of Arizona said Friday during a teleconference from Tuscon.

I think it is a very important thing because as we all know sciencetist had calculated that this earth we no longer can be stay by the creature one day. As we can feel now a day there are many problem had occur such as pollution and oil problem. In conclusion one day we maybe live in Mars and be friend with aliens.

Quotation from the news

First you have to find some news. That's why the Japan Times, Japan Today and Google News are in the sidebar. Click on them and find some news that interests you about Japan or maybe about the whole world. I have Google News customized for my own interests, so I can easily get news that interests me. It might not interest you, but you should find your own news for this assignment anyway. Google News tells me I would be interested in Business Week's article about the iPhone.

The most immediate impact of the iPhone has been on hardware design, encouraging a rash of imitators with big touchscreens. That includes the new Samsung Instinct, which Sprint Nextel (S) has been billing as an iPhone killer. Even Research In Motion (RIMM), whose executives have ridiculed the iPhone's lack of a physical keyboard, is rumored to be developing a touch-based BlackBerry. (The company declined to comment on future product plans.)

Such efforts largely miss the point. Certainly, the beautiful hardware design adds tremendously to the emotional appeal of Apple products. But it's the software that makes the iPhone, the Mac, and the iPod stand out from the pack of wannabes.

I guess I am, but not much. I like news articles to tell me things I don't know.

I was more interested to note that the obscure dictatorship of Equatorial Guinea had made the top of Google News. The top story seems to be about how the former colonial power Spain had backed a failed coup attempt.
une 19 (Bloomberg) -- Spain, South Africa and the U.S. approved a bid to topple Equatorial Guinea's president in 2004 after oil companies said the nation was unstable, Agence France- Presse reported, citing a Briton accused over the failed coup.

Simon Mann, 55, told a court in the capital, Malabo, that Spain, the former colonial ruler, and the other two countries welcomed a change of government, AFP said. Spanish Foreign Ministry spokesman Manuel Cacho denied the allegation, according to AFP.

It's hard to think of a better country, at least in Africa, for someone to overthrow. The dictatorship is in the category with Myanmar, North Korea and others for the suffering that its people have undergone. A large percentage of the people are refugees in neighboring countries. But this news doesn't tell me much that I didn't already know, except that Spain might have been involved in an attempted coup d'etat.

How about the search for the missing in the recent earthquake in Japan? That certainly interested me, and I thought I'd share the latest with you.
SENDAI--The Miyagi prefectural police continued their search Wednesday for a couple who went missing near a waterfall in Kurihara, Miyagi Prefecture, after the Iwate-Miyagi Inland Earthquake on Saturday.

The couple and nine other people are still missing. The police and the Self-Defense Forces are working to find them.

Masahiro Mori, 61, from Izumi Ward, Sendai, and his wife, Yoko, 59, were last seen Saturday morning near a suspension footbridge leading to the Shiraito-no-taki waterfall.

A 52-year-old company employee from Tochigi Prefecture said he met a couple that fit the description of Mori and his wife just before the earthquake. The man also sent photos of the collapsed bridge to The Yomiuri Shimbun.

My hobby

Today, I will tell you my hobby. My hobby is to play a musical instrument; a contrabass.

I like playing a musical instrument because I can get and give a lot of power when I do. For example, after classes and examinations, I am very tired mentally. When I feel exhausted, I always play my contrabass. This is because I can get over fatigue easily by doing and get power to tomorrow. In other words, playing it sets my mind at ease. Moreover, music that I play can give all the people a lot of power. I have my friend’s words that I can’t forget. My friend was in an accident and he had to go into a hospital so he was very disappointed. I wanted to encourage him, so I played my contrabass for him. This performance was poor but he said to me that this was fantastic and he never failed to heal his wound. In other words, I think my music can give power to live. Therefore, by playing a musical instrument, I can make myself and others happy so this is my hobby.

If you don't know the contrabass, please read the following site.

A contrabass is very fantastic!

My hobbies

I have many hobbies such as playing and watching sports, reading, watching movies. Then, I’ll write about “Strolling around places I don’t know”.
I took a trip to where I want to go every vocation and there, I choose one town and stroll around the town a day. I have no information about this town like “What is famous in this town”, so what I see, hear and eat there are very fresh to me. This freshness is very important.
Last spring, I went to Kanda, Tokyo and I strolled around the town for example. I go there at least one time a year because there are some of my favorite shops and the town is near the towns I often go. But I found something new in this town again. I encountered “delicious steamed bun” and “Solemn shrine” there. The former is sold at a shop near the station and there is delicious smell of the bun around the shop. The latter was not so big but I felt something magnificent from that. When I found new thing, I feel very excited.
In conclusion, I think the most attractive point of this hobby is that I can feel very excited because I stroll around places I don’t know. Now, I’m thinking about strolling around one town in Fukuoka or Okinawa in this summer!

For the first 5 or 6 years,I played only classical music. But gradually,I played modern music which were the soundtrack of some dramas, popular songs and so on.

That’s very fun! I play the piano when I come back to my home.

In reality, I'm more interested in watching sports than taking part in them. I think that it's fun to watch figure skating on TV. I'm a fan of Nakano Yukari, so I'm looking forward to wathing matches and seeing her beautiful performances.

My hobby

I have several hobbies, playing sports, watching movies, reading books and so on. Today I talk about reading books.
I read many sort of books when I have time. In particular, I like books on history; Japanese history, European history, Chinese history. When I read "Shiki" written by Shibasenn, I was very impressed by many thinkers, Koshi, Sonshi and so on. What they said is useful in my life.
In university, I want to read so many books and go to the places which relate with books I read.

My hobby

My hobby is reading. I liked to read a book about life and a story full of thrills and suspense. Now, I like to read a book about social problems and a book about science. For example, "The seven daughters of eve" is a book of genetics. Analysis of mitochondrial DNA connect human ancestor. It is a interesting book, I think.

I also read comics. Now I read "moyashimon." There are cute bacteria in this comics. It is animated, I believe. You can read it and watch it.

My hobbies are cooking & playing the violins. I have started both of them since I entered this college.

I've not experienced playing the instructors so far. Last Sunday, the concert Hirodai Orchestra I belong to played was held. Many people came to the concert, & the concert was successful. I saw the enthusiastically playing violinists, then I was attracted by them. They played violins, waving their bodies front & rear and their movement was perfectly completed! I want to be like my seniors soon!

In Japan, one of famous violinist is Tarou Hakase. Why not listen to classical musics played by Tarou Hakase?

Nowadays, the oil price is very high. I have a driver license so I check the price everyday. That was very low a month ago;about 120~130 yen. However, suddenly that increased and that is over 170 yen now.

About this situation, news said following.

The G8 powers and the three Asian countries, which are responsible for about 65 percent of the world's energy demand and carbon dioxide emissions, said they share "serious concerns over the current level of oil prices."

This is true, I think. We also must think about this turmoil and connect this idea to the environmental problems.

Please read this article and think about it.

My interesting new story is ''the government of Osaka''.
Hashimoto tries toreform Osaka.
His tactics gradually come true.
Those are financial cuts and so on.
His bold plan may be criticized, but I expect him.
And his talent is very good.He speaks very fluently. So I understand well his intent.
He is able.
Therefore Osaka will change into a transparent government.

This news make a flutter. Maybe Everyone knows quite a lot about this news.
Tomohiro Kato, the 25 years old. He left seven people dead and ten people injured in Tokyo's Akihabara electric town on Sanday.
I think this matter is the most atrocious affair for the first half of a year.

NEWS

Hi!
My interesting news is the incidents about 霞ヶ関の居酒屋タクシー.

According to the latest article of yomiuri shinbun, more bureaucrats received beer and snack.
Many people are criticizing it.Some say,"Bureaucrats are hopeless. They should be eliminated!"

I think, however,we should not criticize these incidents extremely.
If I were a taxi driver,I would do the same thing .If a person who gets on the taxi looks very tired and it is in the dead of night, you will surely give them something to show appreciation.

Hello.

I would like to talk about a interesting experiment. Do you know "MENTOS GEYSER" ? If you drop some mentos rapidly into carbonated liquid, for example, coke and pepsi, the contents of bottle spout out as high as 6 meters. You can see this interesting experiment on Youtube or other internet site.

But you mustn`t think to try it in your body. In May 2008, chinese university student was hospitalized after eating mentos and drinking coke. Her mucous membrane was little damaged. Furtermore, some babys in Brazil died in the sama situation.

The most shocking news in recent years

I introduce the news that Japanese Olympic swimmers can choose any swimsuits they like during the Olympics. Until now, The Japan Swimming Federation has obliged swimmers in the Beijing Olympics and world championships to wear suits made by particular three japanese manufacturers. However, many swimmers who wore swimsuits mabe by Speedo which is a British manufacturer established World records, and Japanese swimmer Kitajima Kousuke also established when he wore it. For the regulation of the swimsuit, many people have argued about swimsuits, but at least Japan Swimming Federation made the decision public.

I hope that japanese swimmers will flourish the Olympics to wear the swimsuit they like.

Now many people are wildly excited about EURO2008. It is a soccer tournament in Europe and held every four years. This tournament was first held in 1960. For about fifty years, nine countries won the title.

Why are many people excited so much? The countries which are famous for soccer; Brazil, Argentina and Japan(?) can't take part in EURO2008, but the levels of European countries are very high. So every day we can watch interesting games.

In this time, I think Spain will win the title because Spain is a well-balanced team and has a good playmaker. How about you?

My favorite singer

I'm sorry to be late.
My favorite singer is "Backstreet Boys".They are from America. They had been five people in member from formation to 2006, but in 2006,one of the member Kevin(the second person from the left) left the group and they consisted of four people. Though he left the group, their popularity and singing ability don't lose.
I often listen to their songs, but I especially listen to "More Than That", "Nowhere To Go", "Helpless When She Smiled".Why don't you listen to their songs once.

So I played until sunset every day in nearby vacancy. When I became the 4th grade in elementary school, I decided to belong to baseball club unconsciously. For me, the decision was very natural ,bacause playing baseball was a part of my life. I have learned various things, so if I hadn't played baseball, I wasn't what I am. Baseball bring up me until I concern it.

My favorite artist

My favorite artist is Yutaka Ozaki. He is a singer. He is famous for ''I LOVE YOU''and''ZYUGONOYORU''.
He is good at expressing complex feeling in adolescent.
When I was a high school student,I often listen to it.
When I hear it,I feel ease.
Why don't you listen to it?

My favorite composer

I introduce my favorite composer 'Takashi Kako'.He is not only a composer but also a pianist. He was born in 1947.He graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts. He was awarded various prize. His music is graceful. His masterpieces are the music of 'Shiroikyotou','Taiganoitteki','Amidadoudayori'.I love 'Is Paris burning' the best. This music is used in the TV program 'Eizounoseiki(NHK special)'.If you are interested in him, check this site 'http://www.takashikako.com/'.

My favorite TV drama

Have you ever watched "Orange days"? This TV drama was televised on TBS in 2004 ,when I was 9th grade.

The theme of this drama is "My unforgettable bloom of youth". This drama unfold along a love story between a ordinary parson who is a senior in university, acted by Satoshi tumabuki(妻夫木 聡) and woman lost her hearing for a disease, acted by kou shibasaki(柴咲 コウ). Speaking frankly, it's drama of youth in univesity. To tell the truth, I has a longing for days like them in unversity.

Since now,I rented those DVDs on TSUTAYA and watched it over and over. I wait a person who can talk about this drama with me!

My favorite artist

My favorite artist is YUI. She not only sings songs but writes lyrics and plays the guitar. Her voice is so beautiful that YUI fans call it "angel's voice." I think she is the best singer song-writer in Japan.
Now she is touring around many parts of Japan, and she will come to Aomori on June 15th. I tried to get the concert ticket, but I couldn't buy it because she is so popular that her concert tickets had been sold out immediately. I wish I could go to her concert!

My favorite music

My favorite song is 'This Love.' This song is sung by Maroon5. Do you know this song or this group? Their songs make me heartrending. The words of 'This Love' is beautiful. Adam (Vo) sing it by his sexy voice.

I watched their live concert on TV. I had known this song, but then it became my favorite. Their songs have stories. Maybe, 'lovesick' is a main theme of their songs. If you are lovesick, listen their songs.

My favorite place

My favorite place is the sea in my home(Kashima in Ibaraki prefecture). It takes three minutes to the sea from my home.
The sea was usual existence for me.When I was sad and felt down, I used to go to the sea and I was idly looking out of the sea. Somehow ,The sea made me refresh. I was gave a lot of power by the sea. and so in every summer, my families and my friends used to have barbecue party.and we enjoyed staying in the sea. The sea is common place to relax for everyone.
But , now there is'nt the sea near Hirosaki. Much to my regret I missed the sea.
In this summer vacation , I am looking forward to return my home and go to the sea.

New topic

I'm sorry for my late suggestion.

I suggest a topic 'university education.' Now we acclimated ourselves to the new life and this university. We can think about our university. People often say about 'yutori' education. That means the education that aimes at development of individual talent rather than learning by rote caused a decline in the academic ability. Is this true? We were under the influence of this education program. Does it have bad effect on a university education?

It is our probrem. We shoud think about it.

My favorite song

My favorite singer-songwriter is BONNIE PINK. I often listen to her songs, especially "A Perfect Sky". This song was used for commercial message and became famous. I have many good memories with this song, so I like it. For example, when I was a high school student, I sang it with my friends. It is my precious memory. Therefore when I listen to it, I feel happy.

My Favorite Actor

My favorite actor is MANAMI KONISHI, Japanese actor. When I was in primary school, I watched 'Churasan(ちゅらさん)' and I became fan of her. She is popular in wide generation and played many active parts now, for example, movies, dramas, plays, CMs and so on. My recommendation is 'UDON' . I like her for many reasons but the most decisive one is that she confronts her jobs seriously and she doesn’t compromise. If you watch the movie, I think you can feel this definitely. My future job is different from hers, but I want to be like her.

My favorite sport.

When I was in high school,I belonged to badminton club.So far,I had been a basketball player.

I joined the club as I wanted to play new sports. At that time, who could imagine the day has come when Badminton boom arrives?(thanks to オグシオ)

Do you think badminton is NOT hard?If you answer "YES",that is completely false. It is hard sport but therefore the very interesting sport.

There are many kinds of shots. For example, drop, hairpin, smash, drive, push, clear and high clear.

It takes long time to master these skills. In order to win the game, the most important point is tactics!Although you can smash very strong, you won't win.

You have to decide what to shot, when to shot, where to shot instantly.

The more you do badmonton, the more absorbed you are!

My favorite thing

My favorite thing is watching high-school baseball.Especially I like watching baseball tournament in summer. It's known as Koshien.I have watched it since elementary school.
The boys who play baseball at Koshien give me a lot of excitement, impression and many things.
And they taught me the importance of efforts, emotional strength, teammates and so on. So I love high-school baseball!!

Last year I cound not watch baseball at Koshien in order to study. But this year is different!Maybe I can whtch TV all I want.I'm looking forward to coming summer vacation soon.

My favorite artist

My favorite singer is aiko. She comes from Osaka. She not only sings a song, but also writes her songs. Words she writes are about an everyday incident. And many people sympathize with her. I like her songs of course, and I like her cute look, too.
In her songs, I like "beetle" and "profile" especially. She has released a new album recently. I've not listened yet, but it must be wonderful! You over there, please try to listen!!

My Favorite Thing

Today I introduce my favorite soccer club to you. It is F.C.Barcelona. It is Spanish club and found in 1899. Unlike Japanese club, F.C.Barcelona has very long history. Many famous players played active parts in this club; Maradona, Cruyff, Guardiora, Ronaldo, Rivaldo and so on. Do you know them?

When I was about ten years, I watched this club on TV for the first time. I was deeply impressed by this club's soccer. They used field widely and attacked quickly. This club's members change, but this club's soccer doesn't change.

Nowadays F.C.Barcelona often comes to Japan and plays a game against Japanese clubs. So we can have opportunies to watch this club in Japan.

My favorite person

Do you know him? He is Michael-J-Fox and my favorite man. He is very famous for a Hollywood star, especially, for a hero in "Back To The Future". This movie is very interesting, so I have the DVD.

However, he suspends business at present, because he cures his disease. This name is "Parkinson's disease" and unfortunately, there is no cure for the disease. I have ever read his autobiography whose name is "Lucky Man". In that, he said "Thanks to the disease, I can know the importance of my family and friends. Thanks to the disease, I can have the chance to let people around the world understand Parkinson's disease. So I am a lucky man". I couldn't believe the comment. If I were him, I couldn't have the positive ideas and was at a loss what to do. Moreover, he set up a fund for the people who have Parkinson's disease, and announced his disease to people all over the world. His behavior gave a lot of courage and dreams to the patients. Now, he never gives up and he believes this disease will be cured some day.

Surely he got serious disease, but at the same time, he got the fortitude. He is very strong, so I respect him and he is my favorite man.

My Favorite Thing

There are many things I like. Today I introduce one of them.

That is "DORAEMON"! Do you know him? He is a robot who is modeled on the cat. Actually he looks like a raccoon dog. And he comes from the earth in the 22 century, so he has "YOJIGEN POCKET" or a pocket which lead to a four-dimensional world. He can help people in trouble thanks to the convenience tools in the pocket.I was brought up by DORAEMON movies. So I become composed when I see DORAEMON.

These days I have complaints about DORAEMON nowadays, because the voice artists & the characters have completely changed. That shocked me badly. But I've decided not to be discouraged any more! That's because ・・・HE IS ALIVE STILL NOW IN MY HEART!

My favorite sports

My favorite sports is badminton. I think badminton is one of hard sports but I like badminton. Stated quite simply, the reason why I like badminton is that playing badminton is very exciting to me. When I play badminton, I want to win my match easily. So, I reflect my match weak spot to get point. When my tactics which I reflect make it, I highly feel happy. Sometimes, I feel practicing badminton is very hard but I contineu to play badminton for the sake of joy.

favorite memory

memory

I would like to share with all of you my unforgettable memory. It is a memory of a fishermen who is always fall into the river. When I was in the high school I like to go fishing with my friends. In Malaysia no need to take a licence for us to go fishing in the river or lake. So went the holiday come we always go to nearest lake for fishing. It is so exciting thing to do. One day while I was walking nears the band of the lake to find a place for fishing I was felled into the lake an all the people are laugh at me it is a very pity day for me. The next time we went to my old friends house which is at the other village for fishing. There is a river so it will be a perfect place for fishing. But for me it is not a nice river because once again I fall into the water while fishing. I don't got any fish but going back with dirty clothes like a very hard working fishermen. At that time my friends always remember me as a greatest fishermen in the village. Now it is not an embarrassing thing for me it had change to be a perfect memory to be remember until the death.

Favorites

Favorite book, favorite song, favorite memory. These are the topics that attracted more than one student to suggest them. This week you should write about your favorite something. What is your favorite (book, song, memory, activity, etc.)? Tell the rest of us why you like it and why it is interesting to you.

I'd like to introduce my favorite rock group, since you probably don't know about them.

My favorite rock group is the Grateful Dead. They were together from about 1965 to 1995, which is an eternity for a rock group. I first heard of them when their first album came out. My friend played it for me and said "Listen to this rock group that plays jug band songs." (I was into jug band music then.) I was amazed.

The musical influences on the Grateful Dead were very eclectic, and I have eclectic tastes, so I always enjoyed listening to their music. The members had backgrounds in folk, jazz, blues and even classical music. Many of them began playing together in a jug band, which was one reason they often performed many jug band songs. They had such different musical backgrounds, and they improvised so well, that the audience never knew what they would play next. Even they didn't know what they would play next. They just made up each concert as they went along, rather than playing from a standard list the way most musicians do. Their fans started following them around from concert to concert because each concert was so different. The Dead recorded each of their concerts and encouraged members of the audience to record, too. That attracted more people to each concert, and more of their fans began recording as many concerts as they could, because each concert was so different. It got to be a joke that you didn't have to advertise or even do preparation for a Grateful Dead concert because they not only brought their equipment, they even brought their audience with them. The audience kept growing and growing until they were the most popular concert musicians in America. Now more and more of their concerts are being released on CD.

New topic

Hello.

New topic I suggest is "Treasure". Treasure I suggest in this blog does not mean precious or expensive things but what important for you.,For example, family, friends, pets , a memento of you and so on. Moreover, I want you to write your memory or episode about your treasure.I think your treasure shows what you are like.

I hope my suggestion is adopted.

New Topic!

How about talking about ‘Globalization’ or ‘Internationalization’? Many people use these words in recent years, but what is ‘Globalization’? What is ‘Internationalization’? A person who has the ability to speak English fluently is a global person? What do we need to become international? I think this topic is difficult to find answers, but we can debate this topic deeply from many different viewpoints. Let’s talk about this!

New Topic

I think "the earth"is a best for new topic. Now,we have a variety of problems for living on the earth. For example, there is a problem of global warming,a lack of natural resources or food, the destruction of the ozone layer by a chlorofluorocarbon and so on.We must solve these problems surely for the future of the earth and we must do whatever little things we can.
So let's talk about the earth.

New topic

I think "favorite books" is the best for the next topic.
We need to read many books because we can acquire knowledge, but we don't have much time for reading. I want to know about books that you have impressed and I want to read them. We can save time to choose what books we read and it prevents us from reading boring books.
Why don't we write about this topic?

New Topic !!

I think "respect person" is the best next topic.
Because I think everyone has respect person. For example, your families ,your teacher, your friends, etc.
So, let's talk about this topic !

My suggestion!

My suggesting topic is "What dou you think of JAPAN?"

Now,we have more and more chances to talk with foreign people.
At that time, whether we have some opinions about JAPAN is very important,I think,
because Japan is playing a important role in many situations.
Japan is one of the world`s leaders,so we cannot ignore the influence of Japan.
If topics are related with Japan, everything is OK!
For example, the character of japanese people or japanese language, japanese historical places,
Japan's government,politics,environment,incidents,economy.

Let's talk about Japan!!

New topic

I think favorite song is good new topic. Because songs have connection with memories, hobbis, feelings and so on. For example, if I listen to one song, I will remember one event, and it will make me happy or sad. And then I think that everyone has each favorite songs, so it is suitable for new topic. Therefore, talking about favorite songs means introducing oneself.
What opinion do you have about this topic?

I think favorite songs is good topic.Favorite songs are dependent on each of people's character. They represent each of people's thinking and view. So,this is very interesting.

How is the topic?

New topic

I think 'favorite book' is best for new topic. Many people probably have read a lot of books. To introduce their favorite books is very useful for many other students. In the world there are many valuable books but there are also many boring books. It is a waste of time to read boring books. However to read valuable ones is very important for our life. Thus to introduce favorite books each other is the best for new topic.

New topic I suggest

We wrote sentences about a lot of topics, but I have a topic I suggest. The topic is “your best memory”. The topic we wrote is “favorite food”, “movies”, “hobby” and so on, and these show your present interests. So I’d like to know your past too. When you introduce yourself, I think that to tell your memory is a good way.

Moreover, this topic, or your best memory, makes us happy. This is because the best memory doesn’t mean an unhappy memory. When you write the sentences about the topic, you will be pleasant and can write English happily. And when we read what you wrote with English, we can also feel happy. This is very fantastic! In other words, your happiness makes many people happy.

Therefore, “your best memory” is a very good topic. So I suggest it as the next topic.

New topic

I think each person's best memory is the good topic!! For example, your junior or senior high school life, child hood, your birth...etc. Anything is okay! Most of us met each other for the first time last month, and so we've not understood each other well yet. We've experienced many things until now. Memories have an influence on one's life and tell about oneself clearly, I think.

New topic☆

I think "dream" is the best next topic.

Because I think each person's dream express each parson easily. And maybe all the members have a dream. So writing is easy!
Also I expect that knowing other's dream stimulate us.

Why do you think??

my favorite movie

My favorite movie is Back to the Future.Back to the Future is a 1985 Academy Award-winning science fiction–comedy film directed by Robert Zemeckis and produced by Steven Spielberg.
The film's basic storyline involves the premise of time travel being used to breach the generation gap. It is so funny for me.So I like this movie.

New Topic

I suggest environmental issues are good for the next class topic.

There are many environmental issues happening these days such as the rises of the sea level & average temperature and abnormal weather and so on, though it is something to regret. There are many kinds of problem, and members of the 3B class choose their themes in the topic. Then there'll be many contents about environment.
So it'll become interesting! I think it is more interesting than fixing the topic narrowly to make 3B members determining their own theme free.

How about this proposal?

suggestion

hello
I would like to suggest each person tell about the objective of their live in this world. Their ambitions and why they are here now in this place. What they always think in their live every day? The reason of my suggestion is it maybe useful for other people to think about their everyday live and can motivate ourself to be a better person. It is also important for ourself to know our own self better. Maybe until know you don't know who you are? what you like to do? what exactly you wanted to be or to do?
Other suggestion is how a each person explain about a place that they really wanted to visit but until now their don't have a chance to go there. Maybe each person can give their reason, what the special thing about that place, how to go there and so on. It good for us to express something that still in progress. As a conclusion let make this blog be a greatest blog among the others.
