I couldn't understand why he gives his soul to the devil .

Even if I can get magical power , I never give my soul because my soul is most important for me.

Dr.Faustus

I already know about Dr.Faustus and the auther, Christpher Marlowe. And I wanted to watch this movie, I was very happy.

Dr.Faustus is tragedy and famous works of Marlowe. The theme is sin of Dr.Faustus. He contracted with devil,Mephistopheles, gave his soul and got a power for 24years. After 24 years, he was torn from limb to limb and his soul carried to hell. It was too late.

The movie was are in mysterias atmosphere. It makes the movie terrible. I thought Dr. Faustus is clever man but abnormal.

About Faust

I don't know why he gives his soul to the devil and wants power.
Actually, I want power too but I don't want to give my soul.
Although everyone sometimes is in a fret, I think he is too eager to judge calmly.
I feel he resembles a sick person or a criminal mentally.
I'm interested in his last.

Recentry, I practice badminton almost everyday.

It is so hard because badminton is very hard sport.

1much play cost me a lot of energy...

But I enjoy it. The biggest badminton meet held in Ougust, so I try hard to win as possible!

And the meet is over, it will be summer vocation!

Today's blog is for free topic, so I talk about English Chatting time.
I hold it with my frends and Prof.Rausch on every Thursday 2 priod (so called ''2komame'') at English departure's room(Eigoka-Kashitsu). Every week, we are talking about our events, plan, latest news, worries and so on. Last week, we talked about going abroad for studying English.

Our grammar is completely not good. So, if I mistook what I said grammatically, Prof.Rausch correct errors and explain why. It is good for our English skills!

TRICK

This movie makes us smile loosely.

Hiroshi Abe played the part of Ueda,a genius phisicist, and Yukie Nakama did Yamada,a magician.

Ueda and Yamada solve problems in a myserious island , sometimes quarreling but comical. Actualy ,they each other trust themselves and maybe they fall in love.

Usually Mysterious stories make us feel strain,but in TRICK a sort of loose atmosphere is prevailing.

I like movies produced by him very much.

This summer, I have some plans.

1. go to Tokyo for pleasure

2. meet freinds at high school days in Niigata

3. part-time job to save money

I haven’t seen my high school days friends for some years. So especially I’m looking forward to seeing them.

The movie

I introduce the movie "真夏のオリオン" in English, "Orion in the middle of summer".

I saw it at the theater last month.

1945 summer, Japan is fighting against US.

The captain of a submarine,Takayuki Kuramoto, is carrying out the operation under the orion.

He sunk two tanker of the US navy. Then the gurd of the tanker atack to Kuramoto's submarine.

Can he return to Japan and his girl…?

Mouse dissection

Every Monday I have a lesson: Kiso seminar. In this lesson I belong to the immune system laboratory, and a teacher (his name is Osanai, and his specialty is parasitic worms) let me make various experiments.
The most impressive experience in this lesson was mause dissection. After killing a mause, I observed the lungs, the liver, and the gallbladder.
It was a very meaningful eperience. And it was also shocking for me.

Japanese culture!!

Many people live in Japan often long for foreign culture. However I love Japanese culture!! I especially love Japanese culture of the past. For example, Japanese people of long ago feel the changes of the seasons delicately and express their feeling by composing a poem. I am moved by the sensitivity that they had. Contemporary Japanese people don’t have so much sensitivity. You may think that it is because Japanese people of long ago have more time than contemporary Japanese people. You might be right, but I think you can’t feel and express your feeling like them if you have so much time. I think they were more sensitive to their language than now we are. I think we have to learn from their way to live. If we do so, we can live our life more richly.

I saw transformers 2 last week.

At that time,I fell in love with Optimus Prime.

I like "Pirates of the Caribbean", especially "The Curse of the Black Pearl".

This is the first film of the trilogy and I think this is the best.

I watched second one, but it wasn't so exciting.

I've not watched last one, so I want to watch if I have a chance although I heard the last one is not so exciting.

My favorite movie is...Star Wars!!! Especially, I like Episode 3.
Star Wars is SF movie ans it was made by George Lucas. He is famous director.
In the movie, Jedi knight,who save the garaxy, fight with Sith. Sith try people to Darkside.
From episode 1 to 3, the hero is Anakin Skywalker. He was a member of Jedi knight but he fell darkside because of Sith. And from episode 4 to 6, the hero is Luke Skywalker, Anakin's son. In the end, Luke fought Sith!
It is very exiting movie! If you have much time, you should watch it!

My favorite movie is "Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi" made by Hayao Miyazaki,who I think is the best film director.
In this movie,a Japanese girl "Chihiro" loses her way and wanders into a strange world.Then her parents are changed into two pigs by a formidable witch"Yubaaba".So Chihiro stands up to Yubaaba bravely with help of a lot of friends and finally defeat the enemy.
It is very exciting!!

My favorite movie is "Parasite Eve". It was showned in 1997. It is love-suspense story.

Toshiaki Nagashima is a biologist who is doing major research on mitochondria. When his beautiful young wife is left brain-dead following a car accident, he secretly extracts mitochondria from her liver cells and begins tampering with them in a desperate attempt to revive her. The mitochondria take on a life of their own and begin seizing control of the laboratory attendants, spawning a terrifying new species that eventually threatens to take over the world.

If you have studied mitochondria, you will enjoy it more. I recommend studying mitochondia

A movie that I love is “ Sister Act”. Have you ever heard about the movie? It is a favorite musical movie. The music of the movie is amazing!! The music makes me happy and moved. A lot of sisters sing and dance in the movie. You imagine that they sing and dance to slow and soft music, don’t you? If you so, you were mistaken. The songs and dances are very hot and hard!! I will visit Tokyo and stay for one week in this summer.

I am going to Kruizawa in July 29th because Hokuitai is taken place. The tennis match is ended

in August 5th . After that we are going to Tokyo Disney Land. Im looking forward to go there.

And Iam to see friend of mine in Tokyo. We haven't see for a long time. So, I'm very happy to

be able to see her.

In another class, I study how the respiratory system filters out particles in the air we breath.

At first, I could not understand the way respiratory system filter incoming air.However,as I study it, I come to understand it.

The Thyroid Gland

I'm studing about the thyroid gland in another class . I'll tell you about it !!!

The thyroid gland located in the neck produces three hormones that regulate metabolism ,
heat production , and calcium levels in the blood .Their three hormones are (1) thyroxine ,
(2) triiodothyronine , (3) calcitonin . The first two are involved in controlling metabolism and
heat production , and the last helps regulate blood levels of calcium .

It's very interesting for me to study about human biology !!!
I am going to study it hard !!!

Today I and one of my classmate made a conversation. And present it for my teacher and classmates . I enjoy it!

To have a third language at my disposal, even if I only know it well enough to read and speak little, is a definite advantage. I think.

So, however I study Friench for ONLY 4months, I enjoy it and want to continue to learn Friench.

I'm sorry, I forgot to give you your assignment for this week in class.

How about blogging about your plans for summer. Do you plan to travel, see your family, study, or just collapse and sleep it off? I plan to be back home with my family in Akita for most of the summer. I'll teach an intensive course there, too, but other than going to Akita I don't think I'll travel much over the summer this year.

My lesson

Today, I tell you about my lesson in another class.
Now, I take many class and my most intersting class is "Latin"
In latin class we study latin's gramer and pronunciation.
Latin is the original of many languages, so many latin words are similar to English and so on.
As the word are similar, I can estimate what they're meaning.
I think that language is felt own history to me. As studying language, I study history.
I think It's very wonderfull!!
I want to study Latin more than now.
Let's study foreign language.

English Literature

I'm studying about Short English Literature by Mrs,Ichihara. In this class, we learn about english literature from old English to twenty century's English.

Last week, I learnd about seventeenth century's poetry and drama. In seventeenth century, Queen Elizabeth ruled over England. It was great power to effect and change English literature. And poetry and drama was very fascinating.

English literature is difficult for me to memory. Because there are many names of writers and works such as Shakespeare. So, I'll study harder than before...

Geoscience

Last week we studied the inside structure of the earth.
It is made of crust,mantle,outer core and core.
The sea crust is 5~10km deep.Headpiece is basalt.Underpart is gabbro.
The mainland is 30~50km deep.middle part and head part are granite and argillaceous slate.Underpart is gabbor and basalt.
Although I am studying management，I am interested in geoscience.

linguistics

Every Thursday , I learnsd linguistics.

We read a conposition written by a primary schoolchild.

School child express their feelings freely. Although they often mistake,

we understand their opinion. I learned children are gentle and cute from their composition.

I like this class !!

Psychology

I was interested in psychology very much before I became a college student,so I take a psychology class.I'd like to show you what I think most interesting about evolutionary psychology.

What do you think about evolution?How did life on this planat evolute?
You may think that every life change its form little by little to survive in the environment.And to make this change,some chemical reaction may occure or some hormone may release in the life.
I thought so before I took this class.

However,I learned it wasn't right.
According to the teacher,there is a lot of difference in a species.For example,some people are high and others are low.In a species,those whom form are "suitable" for the environment can survive,but others would die.And those who can survive make children.Therefor,"suitable" gene can survive.This is the mechanism of evolution.

Basic Seminar

I like my basic seminar class very much!!

We studied cancer in English.It was so difficult to understand how to develop tumor but our professers teached us details.They also showed us internal organs in which the tumor was discovered.We touched them and recognized the difference between normal and abnormal part.Now, each of us decide a theme ,study about it.And then we are going to release it.

Between school hours,we enjoy having a chat with my fellow. I like the time best in this class.

I want to introduce German class. I have been very interested in “language” since ago. Learning language that we don’t use everyday has a lot of new discoveries. For example, German’s nouns have gender. Languages that I had ever learned didn’t have gender. So it is very interesting thing for me about German. Some days ago, we had a midterm examination in class. The test was difficult for me, so I have to study hard next time.

My recipe

I will introduce how to make my favorite, easy dish: a bowl of rice topped with chicken and eggs.

Ingredients: chicken, onion, egg, MENTSUYU, water, rice, laver

First, slice the onion, and cut the chicken into amall pieces.
Second, put 300cc of water and 100cc of MENTUYU into a pot. Then boil it.
Third, put the onion and chicken into the pot, and simmer it for 15 minutes.
Finaly, add beaten egg into the pot and simmer it for 30 seconds. Then put it on boiled rice. Please add laver cut into fine pieces, if you like.

This is very easy, delicious dish. Please try it.

I like drinking alcohol very much.

When I am drinking, I feel very good and everything seems pleasant to me.

Especially, drinking when I am tired or with friends is my favorite.



So my favorite time is when drinking, though I cannot drink much.

Very easy recipe

First, you make a bacon and egg or a ham and egg.
Please be careful not to bake too much.
Soft-boiled yolk is better.

Second, you fill a bowl with rice and put a bacon and egg or a ham and egg on it.
Please remember to put small pieces of bonito.

Finally, you pour soy sauce to suit yourself and finished.

This is very easy and delicious.
Please try it.

Chicken pilaff

I will introduce you how to cook chicken pilaff .

First , you chop a onion into fine pieces and cut chicken into proper size .
Second , you fly chopped onion and chicken .make i
Third , add rice and fly them .
Finally , season with salt , pepper and tomato ketchup .

It is very easy to make it . Please try it !!!

Black Bottom Vanilla Cream Pie

Ingredients
9-inch baked gingersnap Cookie Crumb Crust
3/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups milk
1 large egg
2 large egg yolks
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
1 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar
Preparation
Prepare crumb crust. Then combine first 6 ingredients in a medium saucepan, whisking well to blend. Bring to a boil over medium heat, whisking constantly, for about 8 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the butter and vanilla.
Place chopped chocolate in a small microwavable bowl. Microwave at medium power for 1 minute. Stir and repeat. Stir and cook the chocolate 30 seconds more if necessary, or until smooth.
Remove 1 cup of custard from saucepan and stir into melted chocolate. Spread chocolate custard evenly in bottom of pie shell. Spoon remaining vanilla custard on top. Cover top of tart with a sheet of wax paper to prevent skin from forming. Chill vanilla cream pie at least 3 hours or overnight.
To serve, whip cream and confectioners' sugar until stiff. Spoon or decoratively pipe whipped cream on top of tart.

My recipe

I made minestorone in my own way.

First, you need to cut carrots ,potatoes,onion to eat easily.

Then,boil carrots and onion.If you know that the color of onion turn into clear,you should potatoes in the pan.

Boil them until potatoes become soft.

Then,you stir a little pepper,worcester sauce,consome and tomato ketchup into it.

The finshing is to put bacon and macaroni.

I don't have macaroni,so I use spaghetti.

A bowl of broiled pork and kimchi and boiled rice

Today, I will introduce how to cook A bowl of broiled pork and kimchi and boiled rice(Buta-kimuchi don). I like this menu!

Ingredients(for 2 person)
Pork about 80g
Kimch as you like(If you like hot memu, you can put much kimchies.)
Starch powder
Men-tsuyu/soy sauce
Boiled rice

Recipe
1.stir-fry pork rapidly over a hot flame in oil
2.add kimuchi. Then mix and fry.
3.meke a starch-and-water mixture and add them to pork and kimuch.
4.give men-tsuyu/soy sauce a flavor.
5.put them to boiled rice.


This recipe is very easy to cook! So, why don't you make it?

My recipe

Today,I tell you about my mother's recipe.
I like this dish, so I often eat this at my family home.
This dish is "special goya chanpuru". (Goya chanpuru is Okinawa's stir-frying.)
Usual we use pork and some vegetables to goya chanpuru, but mother uses chickin and cheese.

Frist, cut goya and other vegetables and chickin. Then, stir-fry chickin with solt and pepper. As finishing to fry, put goya and vegetables in same pan and continue to stir-fry. Put beaten egg and cheese, if ingredient are mixed well, finish!!

Someone,who is not good at eating goya, may be eat this goya chanpuru. As cheese kill goya's bitter taste. When you make this, you should use pizza cheese sale on the market.

My recipe is thin wheat noodles, namely somen. It is very very easy. After you boil noodles,

all you have to do is cutting some vegetables.

The ingredients are cucumbers,tomatos, eggs, hams, something you like.

Cut them in cubes and mix with noodles. This is very easy recipe, but the taste is excellent!!

When eggs are done,put them into a plate.
Then scramble tomatoes.
Last put eggs into pan.
And salt and aginomoto.

My recipe

I will introduce how to make teriyaki .
ingredients
a piece of brest chicken,soysource 15cc,sweet sake15cc,liquor15cc

1 cut a chicken prorerly in order to roast quickly.
2 sprincle flour over the chicken.
3 put on it on the frying pan which is warmed up
4 roast it until it begins to brown.
5 add soysource,sweet sake and liquor.
6 roast for a short while.
7 finish

Try it! Tt is good taste!

How to make hizika fusiforme boiled slowly ina soy broth!

Cooking ingredients ( enough for four)
Dried hizika fusiforme 70g
A carrot
A great burdock
A pack of konnyaku noodles
Two piece of deep-fried tofu
A can of soybeans boiled with only a pinch of salt
A kind of fish paste
Two piece of dried shiitake mashrooms

How to make it??
1. Parboil konnyaku noodles and cut them to be good for eating.
2. Soak dried shiitake mashrooms in water and cut them. ( Don’t throw away the water in which they had been soaked! )
3. Put some water into a frying pan and boil dried hizika fusiforme. Then if it comes to boil, turn off the gas and steam it for about one minute and throw away the water.
4. Cut a carrot into fine strips and shave small thin slivers from a great bursock.
5. Boil two piece of deep-fried tofu to remove the fat and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
6. Put hizika fusiforme, a great burdock, konnyaku noodles, deep-fried tofu, a can of soybeans boiled with only a pinch of salt, a kind of fish paste, dried shiitake mashrooms and the water in which they had been soaked, two and half tablespoons of cooking alcohol, soy sauce and sweet sake into a frying pan. Then light a gas ring and if it comes to boil, put a carrot into it and boil it still more.

This is very delicious!

Hello. Today I will introduce my favorite place. It is Sapporo.

I have ever been to many places; Sendai, Utsnomiya, Omiya, Tokyo, Yokohama, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Kagoshima, and so on.

But Sapporo is the most beatiful and attrative place in Japan for me.

In winter, it snows very much and is very cold. But the snow scene is worth seeing.

In summer, it is cool and the weather is fine. Because the humidity is low, you will feel very comfortable.

Many attrative events are held there, too. Sapporo snow festival, Yosakoi festival, and the beer garden at Odori Park are the examples. During these events, many people come to Sapporo from all over Japan.

I want to visit this place again in the near future.

I love the time to take a bath!! I can feel very relaxed when I am taking a bath. I usually take a bath at least for one hour. Were you surprised??
