I hate that.

Hello. One of the foods I like is Shumai, however, it is only when there is nothing on the shumai. If a green pea is putted on it, suddenly the shumai turns into my enemy. I dislike green peas. Though it is very small, its bitterness and smell are very strong. It is enough difficult to eat a green pea, but green peas rice seems exist. It is rice cooked with many green peas and people can eat it without other food. Eating rice only with that green peas... I can't understand.


By the way, I also don't like Greenpeace, but much less strongly than green peas. I don't understand why they defend whales but allow cows and fish to be killed.

A terrible mistake

　I connect the Internet by using Lan cable. However, the cable is out of the way and I cannot use the Internet connection of my iPod and iPhone. So I ordered a wireless rooter to enjoy the Internet with iPod without that irritating cable.
　The other day, I received a rooter and tried to connect right away. However, it was for Windows XP and my computer is Windows 7. I could not set up and send it to my parent's home because my parent need a rooter.
　I ordered another wireless rooter and received today. I tried it at once, but I couldn't set up it though it is for Windows Vista. I checked the rooter carefully and I noticed, it is for Windows 7 32 bits and mine is Windows 7 64 bits!
　I gave up introducing a wireless connection to my apartment. At the cost of around 10000 yen, I realized the importance of checking goods before purchase it.

E.T

I've seen it once in Japanese, so I could understand what was going on though I didn't make out what they said. The most impressing part to me was one that the boy was trapping and searching in the forest to find the alean. I felt his strong curiosity. When I was young, I was also curious. I explored near mountain by myself all day long and eat rare foods (grasshoppers, honey bees and ascidians...). I plan to try many restaurant in Hirosaki and explore Hirosaki and near cities, but I will not do it. I want to be as curious as I in the youth.

A food I don't like

I don't like all kinds of liver whether raw or cooked. I think there are many people who don't like liver. I'm one of them. I dislike its smell in particular. I feel that it is the taste of blood!

I know liver is a nourishing food and contains many kinds of important nutrients such as vitamins and iron. So I've tried eating it many times, but I don't overcome it yet.

I wish I could overcome liver someday.

Tomato

Now the time to confess the food I dislike.
I really hate tomato.I say this food "red devil".I really can't understand that why there are such people who eat tomato deliciously.
Needless to say, tomato tastes very bad.Besides this,it also smells terribly bad.If somebody eat tomato next to me,I want to say "stop eating!!"

Both it's taste and appearance cause me a reaction of refusal.

The homework assigned to us is about our dislike food, but there is nothing I don't like to eat. So today I'd like to tell you what I don't like to drink.

My dislike drink is root beer. I have drank it many times. However, I've never drink a can of root beer to the last drop. It tastes like rotten medicine! To be honest, I haven't drink rotten medicine... lol
They often say that Dr. Pepper also tastes like that, but I don't agree with their opinion completely. Because I think the taste of Dr. Pepper is not so like medicine and, this is the biggest reason why I don't agree to them, I like Dr. pepper very match!

Anyway, what I'd like to put an emphasis on is that I hate the smell and the taste of root beer. However, as mentioned above, I have drank the awful drink many time. That's because sometimes somehow I really want to drink root beer; nevertheless I know that I don't like it and that I may not be able to drink it up. Perhaps when I feel such a fool emotion, I want to reaffirm that I hate it.

I don't like Rakkyou very much. In fact, I dislike it so much, I don't even want to put it in our refrigerator. It spoils other food's flavor.

When I'm going to eat curry and rice, if I catch sight of Rakkyou, it makes me feel so bad!! I don't know why curry and rice is garnished with Rakkyou. It smells strong and peculiar. It tastes sour and sweet. It feels wet and crunchy. All of its nature spoil curry and rice.

I believe Rakkyou is one of the worst pickles I have ever eaten. Rakkyou and other foods eaten together will disagree with me. I can't eat it forever!!

Well... what should I begin to talk about? I dislike all aspects of shiitake. First of all, the shape! Isn't it awful? I don't like all mushrooms which have the similar shape. Second, the smell. I'm sorry to people who like it, but the smell is so bad for me. When it is baked in the kitchen, I can't stand. Finally, needless to say, the taste and the eating feel. If it cut as small as I can't recognize the feel, I may manage to eat it.

These days, I have conquered some other foods I don't like and can eat them a few at a time. But a whole shiitake... it is impossible.

I don't like olives in brine!I met them for the first time at airplane bound from Japan to London on a school excursion two years ago.They appeared in my face in an in-flight meal.I didn't have so many likes and dislikes in food.I could eat anything to that point.But,just as I bit it I have a dislike!It tasted too bad!I wondered why such a awful food was existing in the world!Who tried to eat it for the first time??I will never understood his idea as long as I live.

For me,raw tomatoes are disgusting.The first time I ate them,I almost threw up.Though I can manage to eat them now,I still can't stand the awful taste.I try not to eat them when dished.

However,cooked tomatoes are not so bad. I like tomato sauce on spaghetti or ketchup.

So when raw tomato is for meal,I always cook them with a frying pan or a microwave.

Shamu (Killer Whale)

Do you know "shamu?"They're officially called "killer whale",but in San Diego Sea World they're famous as "shamu".In the wild,they are very dangerous.I guess you can't imagine that they hunt marine animals, including sea lions,seals and even larger whales.

In many marine theme parks,however,they are trained to do be gentle and they won't hurt human beings.After hard training, they become to do some interesting tricks.The Shamu show in Sea World is a spectacular show, and culminates with a giant tidal wave of water that soaks the audience sitting in the front rows.

Shamu is cool,and the shows are great.I'm sure that everyone who watch them will be excited.

I've disliked a short-neck clam, in Japanese you say Asari, since I was a young. All of my family members except me loves it but I don't like it at all because of its taste and smell of seawater. Do you like it, by the way? Actually I can't satnd its tase so that I can't enjoy clam chowder either, which is kind of American soup and boiled seafood of cource including short-neckclam. I didin't eat it for a long time but thesedays I'm able to eat/drink Miso soup of Asari. I mean that I drink just soup, not Asari. Since I taste Asari soup, I hope I will taste Asari itself too in the future!

Hello, I'm Karakawa.

Today, I'm talking about one of my favorite artists, 9mm parabellum bullet. It is Japanese rock band composed of four men.The band was made in March 2004 in Yokohama. They are giving a 3rd album tour now.

I have been their live event once. It was so exciting! They played for only about two hours, but their performance was aggressive, massive and fun. It is not too much to say that I was excited the best in my life. I want to go their live event again.

In China,People's Republic of China,there are a lot of things to see,eat,drink...etc.I love China,so I'll tell you about China!


One of famous things in Beijing is "the Great Wall of China".It was the wall which blocked the enemy.It's very very long!About 8851.8km!I have been there once when I was elementary school.Of course,I couldn't walk all wall...I could walk just middle of wall.

There are many delicious foods here!For example,fried pork & vegetable dumplings(gyouza),pork bun(nikuman),Mabotofu...and so on.Each area has own special foods.

I can't recommend where is good place because there are so many places!

Hello, everyone! Today, I'll write about my favorite sports, skiing. Skiing is one of the exciting sports in winter. I comparatively don't good at sports like baseball, soccer, and swiming, but I like this sports very much. Have you ever skied ? We can enjoy this sport in this prefecture in winter.

I started Skiing when I was a kindergartener. I used to go to Owani skiing ground to practice it.

When I put on my skis and skied first, I felt fear and couldn't do. However, I practiced it once and once again and came to be able to ski well.I continued to go skiing groung every winter until I became high school student, because the high school life was busy and I started studying to enter this college.

I could enter this college this year. So, I want to ski again. I'm looking forward to skiing in this winter.

new experience for me

I was worried about this Free topic blog. Because I prepared for the tests which are Physics and Chemistry and are going to be done tomorrow. Therefore I didn't hit on any idea.



But fortunately(perhaps unfortunately),I have got a dope only a few hours ago. When I got to home I found black and nimble shape. It was a cockroach!!!!!! I shouted in my mind and unconciously shoughted "Wow!!!" . I was surprised because I see a cockroach for the first time. There is no cockroach in Hokkaido.Then a housemother came there and gave me "a-su jetto" Thanks to this spray, I could kill a cockroach.



I won't forget this experience.

It seems to be very difficult,but you can play tennis if you get used to it.

Hi, I'm Yuta Oba.

I'm belonging to the photo club of Hirosaki University. This is a picture of the camera which I use now. However, this camera is not mine. I don't have my own camera, so I'm borrowing the photo club's one.

Our club will hold an exhibition on July, and I took some pictures for it the other day. We take only black and white photographs. It is difficult to take good photographs and develop and print films by myself. However, when I can make a good work, I am really happy and satisfied.

I'd like to take more and more photographs and make progress in my skill of taking pictures. I also want to buy my own camera as soon as possible!

My recent pleasure

Recently, I enjoy cooking. I didn't like cooking. However , I learned to cook myself after I

had come to Hirosaki.

At first, things I cooked was bad. I often cut my finger with kitchen knife. I sometimes went to restaurant after I failed to cook. Later, I learn to eat things I cooked.

Yesterday, I cooked stuffed cabbage. Today, I ate stuffed cabbage again because I cooked many many stuffed cabbage. This was strong stuffed cabbage. However, it was delicious.

The greatest player

I like watching baseball and love Hanshin Tigers. It has and had many great players. Let me introduce the greatest foreign player not only of Hanshin but also of the world of Japanese baseball.
His name is Randy Wiliam Bass.He set great recrd in many things,for example,batting average,home runs and RBI(run batted in). He became a two consective winner of triple crown(1985 and 1986). His batting average in 1986 (.389) is the best record in Japan.
Recently, great foreign batters haven't existed. So I expect Brazell and Murton to be great batters and to help team like Randy Bass.

Her work I read for the first time is "推定少女-suitei-syoujyo-."(I still don't know what this title means.)The heroine of it is Kana Sugomori,a ordinary Japanese high school student.She kills her NEW father,and escapes.While escaping,she meets not human girl who looks like human and who is running away from her own pursuers,too.Then,they cooperate.While doing so,they go through many experiences.A woman persuades them to do right thing.A boy helps them to hide without knowing that.They meet a man who want to make money by using them.And they finally.......OH! sorry,if you haven't read it yet,Isouldn't show the story any more.

Through this work,I learn what the responssibility is that will be required when a child becomes an adult. If you read it,you may know how many helps you get from adults around you,and that how many responssibilities you don't take. You may learn you are emotionally dependent.

Shinjuku

I was a student who failed my college entrance examinations and was studying to take them again last year.Then,I commuted to Yoyogi Seminar in Shinjuku.This pictures show the south exit of Shinjuku Station (it was called Southen Terrace)in the Christmas season.As you see,they are so beautiful.I liked to look at it very much.There were many couples there,especially on Christmas Day!I went to Yoyogi Seminar almost every day.I was sometime too tired and exhausted,because I couldn't solve a problem in mathematics,chemistry,English and so on.That view made me fine in case of it!This place has memories for me.

If you plan to go to Shinjuku in the Christmas season,I recommend visiting there!

my favorite animal

Have you ever seen pandas? Pandas act in a very cute way. So, I like pandas.

Pandas have some nice features. I like their eyes, especially. Also, their colors, black and white, are my favorite point. Above all, I thought pandas are cutest when they lie down on the ground.

Now, there are very few pandas in the world. And it is said that pandas will disappear completely. Deforestation reduces panda's living area. It's serious ploblem in the world.

To protect pandas, let's save the environment.

About the Viola

Hello! It's Satoko.

I'm belonging to the Hirosaki University Phylharmonic Orchestra club. I play the viola. Last saturdady, we had a concert at Hirosaki shimin-kaikan. We played "Emperor Waltz"(koutei-enbu-kyoku), "the Nutcracker Suite" (kurumiwari-ningyou) , "Romeo et Juliette", and so on. Usually, freshmen are biginner of musical instrument, so they can't play on the stage. But I'm an experienced person of the viola, so I could played on the stage. It was a precious experience for me.

This picture is my own viola. I bought it at YAMAHA in Ginza.I love it.

We are going to hold a regular concert in November. I'll invite you that concert. Please come to our concert!!!!

high school baseball

I like see those who are making efforts. That's because to see them makes me more energetic. So I like watching high school baseball.
They are really desperate. Not only players but also supporters and spectators are keen on the game. Koushien is a kind of sacred place for all Japanese high school baseball players. There are two competitions in a year, in spring and summer. I like the one in summer. Because it is more exciting!
In summer vacation, I will go to Koushien to watch baseball games.

MY FAVORITE MOVIE

My favorite movie is "PRIDE AND PREJUDICE". This movie is very moving and beautiful. The story is set in England in the eighteenth century. In the age, women couldn't work independently. So, they had to marry rich men that they like. One day, Mr.Bingley and fitzwilliam Darcy visit Lngbourn. Women in the town tried to marry Mr.Bingley. The Bennet family also tried to make daughters marry him. Then, Darcy liked Elizabeth Bennet ,but she disliked him because of his pride and prejudice. However, Elizabeth noticed that she loved him. Then, Darcy and Elizabeth got married. In this movie, a lot of things prevented them from marrying; still, they loved each other. This film is worth watching. Please watch it.

My home town

Now I'm going to write my home town.

My home town is Aomori City. I was born there, and I've been brought up there for 18 years. Aomori City is the seat of the prefectual government of Aomori, but it was fishing village called "Utou-mura" before Meiji priod.

Aomori City is famous for NEBUTA festival. I love it. I want to dance when I hear the music of nebuta(we call it "hayasi").If you haven't seen nebuta, you shoud see it. Tohoku-Sinkansen is going to open in this winter, so more and more people may come to Aomori City. Aomori City is countryside and mede a fool of, but I think it is not bad.

I'd watched this movie in Japanese, but I've forgotten the story. I thought I was lucky to watch the movie again. I could watch it without thinking difficult things because its story was easy to understand. The boys riding bicycles fly on sky wiht E.T. That is my favorite scene. Also the bond between E.T. and people moved me.

I listened to his songs for the first time when I was 18 years old.I felt a kind of energetic power, which the most singers in Japan don't have , from his voice and the way he sang.The lylics of his songs are very meaningful and authentic.Of course melodies are also awesome.He often wrote about social problems in those days.It is very sad that he died when he was 26 years old in 1992.

Penguin!!!

Hi everyone! I'm Hiroko.

Today, I want to talk about penguins especially emperor penguins. Have you ever seen them before? Aren't they really cute? I mean especially chicks are too cute! (^^)

Actually I've been crazy about penguins since I was in elementary school. When I was 9 years old, I went to an aquarium with family for the first time and I bought a penguin doll there. At that time, I really liked it and the penguin doll is a start for my penguin freak life, I'm sure! :) And I'm still loving the penguin doll even though it is kind of dirty.

After that, I bought several books on penguins, memorized all kinds and even learned their instinct respectively!! Emperor penguins are the biggest penguin and live in the southernmost. However if global warming goes on, we won't see them in 50 years or so. That's a very miserable, huh? I think we should consider what we can do and save them from extinction. Now I'm seriously thinking of joinig a volunteer work in order to save their life. Does anyone have interested in it?? Let's talk about it!!

Piano♪

Hello, everyone! I'm Mizuki Yano.

Today, I want to write about my favorite thing, piano. When I was 4 years old, I played the piano for the first time. Since then, I have played the piano for 14 years. I love to play the piano and listen to classical music very much.

Piano has 88 keys (52 white keys and 36 black keys) . We can make a sound by striking them with fingers and we can change tone color by change the way to strike them. If you strike the keys with bended fingers, maybe you can make a sharp sound. On the contrary, maybe you can make a soft sound by striking them with stretched fingers.

There were many great composers of classical music, such as J.S.Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy, and so on, you know. If you think that classical music is formal or stiff, you are wrong! Classical music, especially the sound of piano, is very interesting and sounds in your heart. I'm sure you can find out your favorite composer.

Today,I'm going to talk about a ray:)

They are named "Ei" in Japanese.

You would have seen them once at lease.

I love them!

That's because they are so cute!!!

They are flat,and their face is on the reverse side.

I wanna go to Guam in order to watch real rays.

I heard from my tescher that sea in Guam is beautiful;seawater is clear and there are a lot of fishes.

When I have a chance, I will do diving and swimming with rays!
