My hope

I want to be a pediatrician because I was in delicate health in my childhood.
Now Aomori needs more and more pediatricians,so I chose Hirosaki Univ.

I think English is very important in medicine.
Especially,pediatrics is advanced in America,so I want to study it there.
For this purpose,I should study English hard.
I want to study colloquial English and medical English.

Use of English in my future.

As I will be a doctor, I hope to be able to treat them and explain their cure foreign people as well as Japanese. If they don’t speak Japanese, and if I also don’t speak their language, we can communicate in English as second language each other. That’s practical ideal. Of course, I would like to go sightseeing in the U.S. English is necessary for it too.

I want to be a good speaker!

I want to use English in order to communicate with people who speak English.
I want to make friends with people who come from various countries, and
talk with them a lot of things.
To talk with them freely, I must develop my skills of English.
I think, in the future, the opportunity of speaking English will increase.
I want to come to be a good English speaker with the purpose of preparing for such
cases.

There are Japanese sites about learning English, including one for the STEP, which conducts the Eiken test.

There are sites for overseas English language learning centers.

There are sites for easy listening practice, such as the VoA Special English site, where you can listen to English language news at a slower pace.

There is even a directory of online English lessons that you can check out to find ways to study English on the Internet.

In the future,I want to be a medical test engineer like my father.I am proud of him. And if I become medical test engineer, I'll want to work in a foreign country!

In the near future I'd like to speak English fluently and make many foreign friends. Also I want to go on a trip without any language problems. Until quite recently I was afraid of making mistakes in learning English, but Professor Phillip's words encouraged me that we must make mistakes if we want to be good at other languages. Now I'm enjoying this class very much. It's a dream of me to be a doctor in the States one day. So of course, I have to learn a lot of medical knowledge in English but also I think that I need a sense of humor.
