My Favorite Food

According to NHK statistics (2007), the most favorite food of Japanese is sushi. And also I like sushi very much. In particular, nattomaki(fermented soybeans roll) is my favorite kind of sushi because my grandfather sometimes makes nattomaki for my brother and me. My grandfather's nattomaki is special. It contains a lot of natto and the contained natto has already seasoned with soy sauce. So I don't have to put soy sauce on nattomaki and that enables me to enjoy original flavor of natto because I often use soy sauce too much by mistake. My grandfather's nattomaki is most favorite nattomaki for me. In this winter vacation, I will learn how to make my favorite nattomaki from my grandfather.

My favorite food

 I like eating and I like many kinds of food. I'd like to introduce two of my favorite foods.
First, it's apples. I like them the best of all fruits. Hirosaki is famous for apples and there are many various apples. For example, fuji, santsugaru, ourin and so on. They each have different taste, but they all are delicious without being cooked. They can be used for apple pie, too. Hirosaki has a lot of apple pie shops. So someday I'd like to try out all the apple pie shops.

Second, it's taiyaki. They are fish shaped pancakes filled with anko or cream. But we can also fill them with chocolate, curry, meat and so on as we like. They are really good!! Especially, I like their structure. They are unique. In Goshogawara, taiyaki called AGETAI are sold. They are flied taiyaki. I want to try them, too! Have you ever eaten taiyaki? If not, PLEASE try them :)

 My favorite website is COOKPAD. There are a lot of, many kinds of  recipes posted by more than 1 million people all over Japan. On this website, we can see how to make pasta, soup, salad, sweets, bread and so on. I often use this site when I want to know how to cook what I want to eat. I can find many cooking ways on this website. It's very interesting :) !! Also, I watch this website when I feel hungry.  I relieve my hunger with delicious look foods on this website !

Now, I'm planning to make X'mas cookies from this website. I like eating but also I like cooking because making something is very fun whether it's difficult or not. Why don't you cook something? Let's use this website!!

     Do you know Akinator? He is a wise man, and he detects anything what you imagine by several questions.

How to play this game is easy. First, you imagine someone without distinction of real . Second, you answer about 10 or more questions he asks about that. Finally, he guesses that you think right! If he could not guess that or he did not know that, he felt mortifying. At that case, you tell the right answer and give knowledge about that. Do you like watching funny movies? I like watch it very much. So, I'll introduce a very funny movie site. It is MEGWIN TV.

This site is the site which interesting animations are uploaded every day.And the author of the animation called MEGWIN continues contributing an animation approximately every day from 2005.

MEGWIN is a Japanese, but even people of the English zone can enjoy animations because he contributes animations with English captions in it these days.

My favorite website is Twitter.Twitter is one of community sites. You can write something and communicate with people of the world.

You can write anything. For example,I think good that you remark about news,books,and TV program or write what happend.It might be good to mutter casual things too.I tweet various things.I advertised that I would play in "FORET MARCHE DE HIROSAKI" the other day. Twitter can also be used as advertising.


Also,you can make friends.First,you follow up someone.Then you may be followed by that person.Perhaps you might be followed by stranger.Please try to be afraid to talk. You may make friends. I made two friends on Twitter.I don't meet them and know their faces.But I converse with them.And I'm friends with them. Of course,there are real friends in Twitter. This is my favorite site for travel.They have innumerable plans for tour and introduce them here. It's not only about travel tour also just plane tickets. We can search many plans comparatively at once,so it's too convenient when we think about oversea travel or necessity for domestic airlines.In fact,I had succeed my travel through this nice site. I like to listen to music and watch a Korean drama. I make use of GyaO! to do these things.

About music, this website distributes the latest music and takes up various singers and groups. I don't have a TV in my home now. So, it helps me not to be a person who is behind the times.

About Korean drama, this website distributes various dramas once a week, for example, a comedy, a romance and a costume drama. I watched `You are handsome', `my sweet Seoul' , `my girl' and so on. And I watch 3 dramas now. They are very interesting!

About My Club

　　　I am a member of a brass band club in Hirosaki University, and I play the Euphonium.

     This club is active whole year. In summer, some of us practice for contests, the others often visit and perform, because we are requested it in some festivals or something. In winter, we have ensemble contests and a Regular Concert. The Regular Concert is a good chance almost all of the member play together and we are listened a large audience, so I am looking forward to playing there.

This club works a little busy, but I do not care, because I love music!

Flute,Wind Orchestra, Subscription Concert

Flute is one of the woodwind instruments made from wood. But Flute that people often see are made from silver.(Some flute are made from gold,platinum,and wood.) The origin of flute is instrument called Flauto Traverso. "Flauto" means a pipe and "Traverso" means a side. This was made in baloque. At the time,it is made from wood. As the times changed and it changed. The flute was made of silver in 1847. As a result, flute was the current form. ( Of couse, the flute I blowing is it too.)


Wind Orchestra is music that people play wind instrument -for example,flute,clarinet,trumpet,and so on- and percussion. General to speaking, it is said Brass Band. But it is not correct because Brass Band is composed of the brasses like trumpet without the woodwind instrument. I want everyone not to mistake.m(_ _)m


By the way, I join the wind orchestra club in Hirosaki university.I play the flute and piccolo. Recently,we practice very hard for subscription concert. The concert will be held in hirosaki citizen hall on December 17. We are going to play contest music, others classic,and pops. Admission is 500 yen. I want to play to impress you. We together look forward to you.

About My Major

     I am in a Pedagogy of English major. In this major, we can study about how to teach for children, how to give a guidance or advise and so on. As you can see, its characteristic is specialized for the student to be a teacher.
     Of course my dream is to be a good English teacher, because till now I have met great English teachers. They taught us intently and cheerfully, and all of them supported us to search and make one’s dreams. I experienced that, therefore I want to be so too.
     In addition I want to work at Akita, because there is my native place. But Akita is one of the most popular and difficult place to be a teacher. That is why I study hard and make my dream come true!

about my major

I belong to the department of education. I study English. In this course,　I can study English linguistics, British and American literature, English communication, English pedagogy, comparison culture and so on. English is difficult! But it is very interesting!

My dream is to become an English teacher. So, I belong to this course.

When I was in junior high school, I met a great English teacher. It was this time that I decided my dream. This picture is my junior high school.

I want to be a great English teacher like my teacher in junior high school. I think that I need experience. So, I'm going to study abroad in a couple of years. I want to go to Canada or New Zealand. I believe that this experience is useful to improve my English!

My Hometown

My hometown is Odate. This city is famous for the place where The Hachi was born. It is well-known as a faithful dog, and its story was made into a Hollywood movie. So its bronze statue is put up at the station.

And there is an interesting festival in February. It is called “Amekko ichi”. Amekko means candies. This festival comes from old histories and now it has a tradition which eating candies in this season make us healthy.

Odate is too small and rural, but there are kindly people and much nature, so I like there.

Paris

My hometown is the capital of France, Paris. I was born there, so I can tell this is the most wonderful city in the world. The architecture of some areas is unchanged since the Haussmann’s work in the middle late 19^th century; this is when the government decided that the capital of France should stop looking like a big garbage. The streets became cleaner, the buildings more convenient to live in and of course more beautiful. Apart from the buildings, Paris is full of historical monuments and museums, so Paris is never boring. Plus the public transport are so convenient you can never be lost in Paris, everywhere you go you can find the subway or a bus which can take you everywhere you want in Paris in 30 minutes at most. The reason is Paris is a small city. Contrary to London or New York Paris has kept its size unchanged since the Haussmann’s work; the suburbs around Paris are bigger that Paris itself, so it is even possible to just walk around while visiting Paris and see everything that there is to see. So I can only encourage you to go to Paris but be prepared because everything there is really expensive, but probably not more expensive than Japan.

I would like to introduce my hometown called Wörlitz. Wörlitz is a small village in the middle of Germany in the federal state Saxony-Anhalt. The closest bigger city is Dessau, which is famous for its Bauhaus-architecture. Together both towns make up the "Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Wörlitz" which is a popular place for tourism. The main attraction of Wörlitz is the "Wörlitzer Park" which was added to the UNESCO world heritage list in 2000. The park was laid out in the second half of the 18th century and has become famous ever since. It's purpose was to enable people of every social class to find some relaxation and eduction. In general, Wörlitz's foundation was around 1000 years ago. Nowadays, there live around 1500 people in Wörlitz, whose main source of income is the tourism branch. Though it is a small town, it is really worthwhile vistiting.

I'm a professor here at Hirosaki, and one of my hobbies is computing, so I experimented one semester with having students write a blog together. It worked, so here we are.

I forgot we have another class!

Sorry about that. I knew it was our last Friday, but I forgot that next Wednesday is a Friday as far as classes go.

Since someone asked about why people got angry when he played Soul Music, the answer is that Soul Music took several stylistic features of Gospel Music. Gospel Music was originated in the 1930s by Reverend Thomas Dorsey. Many people felt that Soul Music was sinful because they felt that Gospel Music should be used only in church to praise the Lord, and that using the Gospel "sound" for secular purposes was blasphemous. What they didn't know is that Reverend Dorsey was simply using techniques that he had used in his previous career as a secular musician when he wrote Hokum Blues.

The movie "Ray"

Ray played the piano and sing a music very well . I can't do either.So I think he is great because he is very well enough to do in front of the people.
The movie has a lot of music.I don't know its name but I think it's very good.Next time I will finish watching the movie.I'm looking forward to watching it.

I did’nt know about Ray Charles at all until I watched this movie last week. I think his music is very great and makes us fun, but it was not good that he got lovers except for his wife! I worry whether he could separate from his lovers and quit a drug or not. By the way, I could not understand why people got angry when Ray played gospel music. I want to listen to his music more, so I’m looking forward to watching the movie tomorrow.
