Japanese
weather words are beautiful.
My favorite Japanese words is kazahana(風花). This meaning of kanji is "flower in the wind". Image
the white snowflake wafted by the wind.
We have
very heavy snowfall in Aomori. However,
the sun sometimes broke through the thick clouds.
We can
see it in the clear sky.
This word doesn't be used "snow(雪)",
but I can tell people the beauty of the scene.
There are still a lot of Japanese words of weather. botanyuki(peony
snow,牡丹雪), hanagumori(clowdy weather in the
cherry blossom season,花曇り)and so on…
Let's
know the beauty of Japanese weather words, and enjoy Japanese weather!
