Listening practice

One of you asked me about listening practice on the Internet. I came up immediately with the following URLs, butf if you have more, tell us about it, either in the comments or in the blog itself.

Voice of America, especially for Special English.

(They have Hausa for listening practice, and other languages too.)

BBC and BBC News especially the World Service.

And finally, the largest directory I've found of Internet radio, including all kinds of music as well as all kinds of talk radio (or as they say in British English, "speech radio"): Shoutcast. You can search Shoutcast for almost anything imaginable.
