My brother is suffering from atopic dermatitis for many years. It is a common skin disease. It is said that one of ten people who aged 20 or younger suffer from that disease.
The main symptom of atopic dermatitis is a painful rash. The indication is differs with the age of a patient. For example, in the case of a baby, the rash is formed on a head and a face. In addition, the rash is ozzing. In contrast, in the case of an adult, the upper body is easy to appear the rash, and their skin is dry. Also, most of patients of atopic dermatitis have food allergies or hay fever. They make symptoms more serious.
The general cure of atopic dermatitis are medical therapy, skin care and removing other factors. In the medical therapy, steroid drugs or immunosuppressive drugs are used. However, these drugs have strong side effects. I hope new drugs of atopic will be made someday, and my brother's symptoms will improved.
